bugera 400 with 40 cover

i am considering selling or swapping my bugera 6262 2 x 12 combo its too f%^%$g loud i thought i would see what kind of response i got before actually doing anything concrete i love the sound of this amp it does everything from clean sparkles all the way thru to death metal i play in a lounge / club combo and it is just far too loud ...i have gigged it twice and cant get it past 2 on the volume the amp deserves better..............i have talked to my amp guy and the best we can come up with is to remove 2 of the output valves and put in a master volume..........the amp is a copy of a full metal peavey 6 x 12ax7 at the preamp and 4 x 6L 6 on the output c/w footswitch and a custom built padded cover that the wife bought for 40 for my birthday i would consider swapping for a 30/40/50/watt valve combo preferably 6L6 but am open to offers these are 466 on GAK at the moment like i said at the start i love this amp it does everything it is just far too loud for the type of gigs that i do..........don't let the name put you off its a behringer rebadged made in china ( my amp guy tells me its one of the best put together amps he has seen for a long time including marshall fender etc oh by the way marshall have just released a budget range of valve amps made in china whos next don't let badge snobbery put you off you can try it out just give me a shout :popcorn: ps if you want photos GOOGLE i am over 50

so how does the coil tap work ??? is it on tn the selector or one of the knobs cool idea this works on all sort of levels i'm an inverted gear snob even marshall are now doing a chinese " budget valve amp " who's next............................

still got some pedals left to sell and one or two bits and bobs ( don't tell him ) EHX stereo electric mistress chorus / flange 40 2 x meredian sustain pedals ..latching can be used as channel switchers for amps ....echo on P.A etc polarity switch one with molded lead one not decent offer and you can have them.....( double figures for two ) MARSHALL SV 1 supervibe stereo chorus / trem 30 NADY 101 vhf wireless system vintage circa 1983 for the collectors never let me down changed the original jack for a neutrix c/w mains lead reciever and guitar pack 30 ono. :popcorn:

my pal is selling a pair of J.B.L 15 x horn cabs for 220 ono.... you just missed the pa amp he had hope this is a start for you oh yes they are about 250watts i had them up on here before and had the correctish details he still has them and might take an offer just looked up my original post and he was asking 250 now 220 make him an offer

well for one thing our moustaches would be white and the age group the ad is aimed at ) ( i'm not ageist young guys and girls can apply ) apart from me and jamie affro i wouldn't expect any of the guys to have so much hair ........ there are probably places where you can get treatment for your facial hair obsessions and if i wasn't so lazy i could look up along name for it oh and also we were around at that time and probably had those zapata things going on but were to stoned to remember jesus this is just petering out............................

you need a minimum 200 watt cab 400 watts would be better the speakers are the most important part of your sound

thinking about cab have to find somewhere to stash it so the wife won't see it......have you thought about modding in a headphone socket or a master volume ...i was talking to my amp guy tonight and he said it was possible

can i ask why you are selling i have a 6262 2 x 12 combo and love it never had any probs apart from the wife ( way to loud to practice at home ) also would you sell separately ?? is it the 200 watt cab ??

Hi 51 been away from playing for 10 years are there any older guys out there that would like to put a pop / rock band together ...........some classic stuff and some of the newer guitar bands...........i play guitar and sing was around the city / country scene for a lot of years back in the day ha ha ha ..............................been back 2 years playing in a 2 piece with midi backing sort of want to move on ...i am happy enough to play with backing tracks with the right people / person but it would be a lot more fun to play with a full band older guys with experience / younger guys who want to give it a go i don't mind i don't have any influences i just like music..... so to re-cap.....................lead / vocals .....bass / vocals.....drums / no vocals ( well we all know drummers can't sing and play at the same time...........apologies mr knight ).......... no point asking for keys / vocals cause you can't find a key board player in aberdeen.......unless like me you can play one finger keys on a yamaha mm6 vocals are not a must .................. do i sound needy ????????
