going to sell my Marshall AVT amp and cab

150W amp 200W cab

amp has 4 channels, acoustic sim, clean, od1 and od2

the acoustic sim is crappy, i just turned its completely down, and used it as a mute.

loved the clean, i turned the preamp right up so it gets a little bite on it, was the only channel i used.

the ODs were quite nice od1 is more of a crunchy rhythm channel, and 2 is a sort of high gain lead channel.

theres 2 eq sections, one for acoustic and clean, one for both of the overdrives. and it has 16 built in effects, reverbs, delays, choruses. one for acoustic and clean, one for the ods. i only used the reverbs as i always use effects pedals.

i have the 6 button footswitch, which costs an extra 60.

if you want it, make me an offer

i'd be willing to swap for some gear depending on what it is. just fixed my fender strat, has a humbucker in the bridge, would love one with three single coils

tis a much needed knob, i still use the pedal, but i can no longer use the distortion on it, because it sounds horrible with the frequency where it is stuck

i must say i agree with mr W here. i was considering buying this to replace my old one, but the same problem with this one.

the frequency dial is completely missing

i would buy it right now. but im still waiting for a sale to fall through :/ if it's still around when i finally get my money i'll have it!

its the black one with white binding, all the specs there, its in pretty much new condition, missing the high E, would replace it but i've never worked with locking nuts and stuff, and it's just a bit too fiddely for me.

aye thats the one! i figured that because my dad knows him he'd be alright, but 60 is still steep as hell

i'll check out the website for harkte just now see if theres anything good on there, but most of the review for this amp are really good

the big music shop said 35 to look at, and a guy called dave sidley said 60 to fix it

its noisy on both channels, don't even need to plug anything in, just turn the volume up not even half way and it's horrendous

right, put in a new electro harmonix 12AX7

and it hasnt helped....

went to speak to a few guys in inverness about getting it sorted, one place said 35 just to look at it, and another said 60. and i really cant afford that right now, especially seeing as the problem is probably a few bad caps or something, is there an easy way to check all the components myself?
