  1. Thanks guys, but I decided to pull the trigger on a Boss ME70 on ebay for 150 this morning. Cheers anyway!
  2. Hi mate, cheers for the offer but I'd like to hold out and see if there are any Boss or Line 6's kicking around that'd be suitable (mostly swaying toward the Boss pedals).
  3. Hi guys, I'm looking for something along the lines of a Boss ME50/70, GT10 etc., or as a shot in the dark, the likes of a Pod HD300. Pop me a message with what you have and how much you're looking for. Cheers guys
  4. Did the same, 4 tickets ordered this morning through fanclub presale, cannae wait for next July now!
  5. Just went ahead and ordered that Tiger Pro, so no longer need this.
  6. Hi guys, looking for a double bass pedal to go along with my newly purchased Roland TD3. Looking to spend no more than 100, I currently have my eyes on this one: Tiger Pro Double Bass Drum Pedal DHW77-CM - DJM Music Ltd. @ 70, but if you have a quality 2nd hand one that you could offer that'd be a better deal I'd love to take a look! Cheers guys!
  7. Hi, sorry mate, just bought a Roland TD-3KW+P for 400. Cheers anyway!
  8. Hi Guys, I'm looking for an Electronic drumkit that's suitable for a complete beginner. I plan on playing it with headphones, through my computer and also through Rock Band 3 with the midi adapter that's coming out, and I know that the Yamaha DTXplorer is compatible, I'm quite sure the various Roland kits are compatible also. I don't like the look of the Roland HD-1, but I'd happily look at any of the others, the TD3 etc. Cheers!
  9. Good condition etc. mate? If so, I'll take it. I'll also be in Alford this Saturday night, so could grab it from you then...
  10. Selling 1x Standing ticket for Paramore at the AECC on 20th Nov. Face value - 26 Cheers!
  11. I take it you haven't seen anything about Rock Band 3 that comes out tomorrow's "pro" mode? They're releasing a plastic guitar with around 100 buttons to emulate strings, and at the beginning of next year they're releasing this: Yes, it's a real guitar. It can be plugged into an amp while you play along with the game. It also has full midi capabilities (it plugs into a midi controller which plugs into your xbox/ps3 etc.). I've always enjoyed the game aspect of rock band/guitar hero, it's a good laugh getting your mates around and pissing about with it. They've just taken it a step beyond with this new incarnation though. They've said its based on a $250 guitar body, so I expect it to be at least $300-350, so 225-275 over here I reckon. I'll be pre-ordering it for sure. Here's the official info: Squier by Fender Stratocaster Guitar and Controller edit: Oh, and in case you wonder how it handles songs that are performed in non E-standard tuning - the black thing that looks like a single coil is actually a raisable rubber stopper that'll stop the strings ringing out and sounding awful when playing along. You could always just create playlists of standard and non-standard tuned songs and change between them as you like though. It's fairly clever and I guess the only solution they could come up with keeping the budget down.
  12. Thanks, have an ad up in a few places for it... no biters so far though! It's sold out too... c'mon people!
  13. Ouch, you're right! Thanks - wish I could edit the OP :O p.s. I presume you already have tickets!?
  14. Youtube'll sort you out I'm sure? They're hot and grunty, sound great with a blues-y overdrive.
  15. Is it Black or Blonde? What have you picked up to replace it?
  16. As title, 1 Standing Ticket for Feeder @ O2 Academy in Glasgow on 22nd of October for sale at face value (24). Pop a message here or a PM, cheers!
  17. Awesome gig tonight by Sparrow & co. Loved it, their upcoming single Red & Black sounded amazing. Great work by John Knox Sex Club & Steve Winton too, can't think of anything I'd rather be doing on my Sunday night!
  18. I don't need a new guitar, but if they had the Jazzmaster in the same silver colour as the Jaguar and it had a maple fretboard, that would be 1 sale. As it stands, no deal! I really like the look of the range in general too, love the look of the strats and teles too, but I'm already covered in the area they cover...
  19. Cheers for the facebook link, signed up to the event and invited a few folk too. Also, ordered up tickets for this from ticketweb before One Up started selling 'em, anyone have any idea if you just pick up tickets on the night, or if you can pick them up earlier?
  20. Jim Adkins took a TC-90 and heavily modified it, afaik it's what he's been using for recording for quite some time? Fender approached him to turn it into a signature and thus the JA-90 was born. She's a beauty, eh?
  21. For anyone interested, I picked up glennbuchan's Schecter C-1 Classic (saw it on his Telecaster thread in trading post, and won it on ebay)! Here's a pic: And here's a link to the rest of them: New guitar day! Schecter pics - Click me!
  22. Looking to spend up to 400-450 and I've got a vague idea of what I'm looking for. I really want something that's versatile, so I'd ideally like a 2-1-1 config. I think I'd be happy enough with 2 humbuckers though so long as it'd cover the majority of what I'm looking to play. I really don't fancy a Floyd Rose style trem, but I'm happy enough with a standard trem or even a fixed bridge. I'm looking for something with a blue finish preferably, looks are important, but tone is paramount of course, so I wouldn't discount anything unless it's hideous! I'll be playing the guitar through my Blackstar HT-5 stack at my house and will be playing anything from Blues to Rock to Metal. So far I've looked at the Ibanez SAS36QM, I've got it pricematched somewhere for 395 along with hard case, strings, cable, strap: The Fender JA-90: Schecter C1: Ibanez RGA72QM: I've seen an LTD MH1000NT that I really like, but at 700-800 it's out of my price range, they make cheaper ones but they're all floyd rose. I'll likely be buying blind as there isn't anything locally that I fancy having just had a rake around R&B and Brucies, the closest I've tried out to any of the above is an Ibanez SAS260, the model below the SAS36, and while I liked it, I found the bridge humbucker pretty uninspiring. So, any suggestions guys? Anyone have any comments on the above guitars, or think there are better alternatives for the money? Cheers!
