Marionettes have been confirmed as a support for this, totally physched!
Cool! Cheers.

Any word on support(s) for this yet?

Theres an awesome video on WH's website, shot at the Fence Records Halloween party. It doesn't show WH, but he soundtracks the vid. Brilliant song.
Very cool.
Hah!
Used that video in the preview I did for the show this morning.
It's great

Yup, the trailer is really good.
So cool to see stuff of this quality coming out of Aberdeen.
Do you have any more info about your exhibition Tim? The Kilau dudes usually send me some stuff but get in touch at thekiosque@googlemail.com if you have any blurb and I'll put the trailer up on the site.
Only, if you're cool with that obviously...

maybe just a wee clickable calendar off to the side which brings up a list? It certainly helps to have a visual of the dates somewhere so you can see at a glance what day of the week things. I know it's not much of a hassle to just think about it for a sec but my mind very much works according to the calendar by which I mean I see weekdays in blocks of five and wknds two days at the end... if that makes any sense. In other words, if it's all just presented in a list I generally get a bit lost, even if the days and dates are there in front of my eyes.
No, makes total sense and it's along those lines I'm thinking of anyway, cheers.
-
It's just easier to view, ken? Maybe even have an option, so you can choose to view it as a grid or as a list? I dunno.
No, I'm with you just find them a bit clunky and part of the reason the site works is it's clean and simple.
Will probably end up being something you can view either weekly or monthly.
Whatever it is, it'll take a wee while to organise so bear with me!

i think if the kiosque had a grid calendar format as you say, it would be perfect.
Thing is, I'm not a huge fan of grids/calendars. I am going to expand it though and having one big long list won't work so I'm looking at different ways of doing it. Cheers for the kind words though everyone...
-
Seemed as if it had potential to be a bit more involved than just a calendar. i.e. the whole profile thing. The kiosque is good, that other one is mintal but it's got everything you need I suppose.
Cheers,
Our gig guide will be expanding soon by the way. Noticed a few others both online and print springing up too which is all good. Thing is, there are so many last minute changes etc (especially with Drummonds/Tunnels) that they're out of date as soon as they're published.
That's not a dig at those venues by the way. It's the same everywhere.

I think mine was Sonic Youth's 'Daydream Nation' although I might have blanked some others out for reasons of trying to convince myself I'm cool, I've a nagging feeling that the first Soup Dragons album may well be the truth
It was 1987/88 anyway. Christ.
or some 7" on Oily maybe???As an aside I've got a 7" on Oily by a band called 'Tools'. No recollection as to why/how I've got it. I know it was an Aberdeen label and they put out the early APB stuff but not much about the label beyond that. Anyone tell me more?
Amazingly, someone has put the Tools record online here

Top line-up, you should try and get some national/out-of-town press coverage for this one...
-
We've got a couple of tickets to give away for this one. Cheers to Mark from IMP for making it possible.
The Fruit Bats album is really good by the way. Been growing on me big time this week...

Indian Summer is back in 2010. September.
Cool.
By the way Geoff Ellis has confirmed there won't be a Connect this year again (link below) but they're looking at 'Satellite Events'
Get on it, people that can get on these sort of things, something up this neck of the woods would be good...
