  1. A case of Chinese whispers! This is going to be a funkin' good show. Crack out the dancin shoes and get down the LT for a boogie!
  2. Unfortunately Guru has had to cancel his tour following a car accident. We shall be announcing another big name jazz player to fill the void within the next week. Despite the loss we still have a solid line up, featuring the legendary and iconic figure of UK jazz, Acker Bilk, and the 2008 MOBO Best Jazz artist winner YolanDa Brown, marked by many as the eventual successor to Courtney Pine as the premier jazz sax player. We also have free events during the day at both the Music Hall Cafe and The Lemon Tree Lounge. Come on down for a spot of lunch and a great free show! Tickets for the festival can be purchased through Aberdeen Box Office, 01224 641122.
  3. If you don't say so yourself!!! This night's gonna be mega! Shy & DRS, with a guest DJ performance from qb-C, will be performing their set that has earned them rave reviews up and down the country. Az-I Cool welcome a new member to group in style with a brand new set - visit the MySpace for info! Debut show from Ad Hoc playing floor-fillers from hip-hop through to breakbeat. Gregor Cunningham will once again prove why he's one of the city's best DJs, mixing breakbeat through dub-step into tech-house to finish you off.
  4. Unfortunately this event has now been cancelled following Guru's close escape in a car crash. If you have purchased tickets for the show you can get a refund by going to the box office at the Music Hall, open Monday to Saturday 9am - 6pm.

  7. Contrary to previously stated, support on the night is from Klunk and not Zony Mash. Apologies to both bands for the confusion. Regardless, this gig's gonna be mega!

  17. Big shout to The Kiosque, that's an excellent article. Belleruche are a unique outift unlike anything Aberdeen has to offer. If you like 60s soul, 50s blues or 90s hip-hop, or if you love them all, you are guaranteed to love these guys. Not convinced? Check out their website where you can listen to pretty much everything they have put to record. Belleruche Belleruche on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads
  18. But eight days away people! Go get your tickets from One Up or Earl of Sandwich!
  19. This one's on Friday - if you have yet to experience Martin Taylor I would highly recommend it, with and without my APA hat on. Definitely one for the guitarists, though you may leave feeling a little down about your own talents!
  20. Great show TONIGHT! Come see him before he's everywhere and you hate him for it! Seriously, though, Teitur is a superb indie singer-songwriter, not quite like anything I've heard for a while.
