BlackLabelled.com • View topic - 1200 Acapellas RAR'd
There's a bunch on here- not the most varied selection but I reckon that forum would be the place to find what you're looking for. Hope it helps.
EDIT- I'm 99% certain that was the site I was trying to link to you in the first place, but when you go onto it you get automatically directed to the forum. You should still be able to get a lot of stuff through the boards though.

There's a great site where you can download 4 or 5 700mb zip files, each filled with acapella stuff. Problem is, I can't remember what it is. I'll ask the person who introduced me to it later today and see if they can shed some light.

YouTube - olympic handover party - scouting for girls
That should explain everything.
No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.
Good lord- that's nauseating.

These tracks are so fucking good.

I can't wait to start playing about with this.

With real talent, hard work, dedication and persistence I'd like to think that an Aberdeen act could be quite successful. But then it depends what you mean by 'making it'- I'd say there's current acts hailing from Aberdeen who are achieving great things and creating a name for themselves.

Thrashist, not fascist...

Cameron off of Big Brother used to wander round my old school on parents evenings and such like. I can remember sitting in music one day when he walked out of a cupboard (which linked two classrooms) only for him to be shunned by the whole class.

They really aren't that bad. I'm certainly no fan of Scouting for Girls, but both the Killers and Coldplay have a few great songs between them. However saying that sitting in an empty room for the rest of my days listening to them wouldn't exactly be a fulfilling life so I'd take the rusty spoon.

One of Toxic Distortion's tunes keeps going round and round in my head. Quite possibly the guiltiest of pleasures...

A Gordon Smith GS1 doublecut is sitting quite highly on my "guitars I fully intend to buy one day once I'm not broke as fuck and living on a shoestring budget" list. Keep an eye on the official site, because they sell models with minor imperfections at quite heavily reduced prices. There's nothing available at the moment, but worth watching if you've got the patience.

The CD is now available in The Cavern and Oneup as well, priced at 2!
I'll make sure I pick up a copy of this next time I'm in town- some great bits in those tunes. Good work.

Left it all to the last minute only to realise I know absolutely nothing for each course. Same as always...

I've been playing about with this through the day, and it's so far been brilliant. The adverts aren't that big a deal- I can handle 2-3 20 second clips per album if I'm getting to listen to it for free. I reckon it'll become quite a big thing in the next few months.

I've only played it for a few hours or so, but the dog pisses me off. I didn't realise there was a way to lose him!

I'll sell mine for half price since it's January and it's second hand
I've got 5000 gold and an account on the laughing skull server...

Can I just step in here and suggest that eating faeces might explain your feelings of nausia in the first place
I knew I'd find the advice I needed in this thread. Thank you kind sir.

Dear Uncle G,
I went out running today in an effort to try and lead a more active lifestyle. However I only managed about 15 minutes before extreme nausea set in- when I got home I sat for half an hour trying not to be sick. Should I integrate this into my morning routine, or just sod it, eat more shit and start smoking?

I think this could be the dullest thread on Aberdeen-Music unless you are some sort of sad guitar nerd.
Stripey would have ruined this thread if it had been posted 6 months ago.
I used to be a massive fan of DR- found them to be long lasting with consistent tone. They seem to be fucking awful nowadays though- the last 2 or 3 packs I've bought sounded ridiculously dull. For the last couple of years I've been using D'Addario 10-46 on most guitars and 11-52 on my Dean. I reckon I'm going to try a set of Elixirs next time I'm restringing, just to see how they fare.

What sort of prices do you charge for a standard set up? I've got a guitar and a bass that need doing.
