Understandable that you would forget
Yes, I'm usually lurking around in general, seems like actually discussing music on here caused everyone to have a hissy fit circa 2006/7 and request they be deleted lol.
shame what happened to her anyway, used to be peng before she was skeng.
-
I didn't really get into her stuff either, seems like okay she's got that shirley bassey type thing going on and for that to chart is refreshing but... could just listen to shirley bassey (not gay)

Its a music forum and Amy Winehouse was a very famous musician...
you've got me there, though sometimes I forget this is a music board.

That's what's been reported anyway. Strongly against the labour government. He was apparently responsible for the bomb as well. Set up an Organic farm company and ordered 12 tonnes on fertiliser.
Not heard much in the last few hours but apparently he was co-operating with the police and all that. It's achieved his horrible goal though hasn't it. His own political message is now going to reach the whole country. Really sad.
Well, I expect it'll backfire and the people will rally around their government and the party and this guy will spend the rest of his days on this island with people being nice to him so he feels like a real scumbag:

Such a tragedy.
How was he captured? Ran out of bullets and not manage to do himself, or does he think this is going to give him some elevated status now that everyone knows him?
Apparently, he wants a chance to explain himself and he may have deliberately targeted the Labour youth movement to basically cull future political opposition in Norway.

90 kids shot dead by freaky extreme right-wing freemason and what is this thread?
oh wait there is a thread now, nevermind I'll go and rant at facebook then.

hmmm, some people really don't like their co-workers.
my ideas:
PrtScn desktop, save to desktop (sort5 of like jester's didn't read that first, much more developed!)
tape desk drawers shut.
print this: cut out and tape over the bottom of their mouse.

Mine is the cover of Rhythm of Time by Belgian Electro Body Music pioneers Front 242!
Before that, I was J. Robert Oppenheimer, portrayed by Dwight Schultz in Shadowmakers, watchign his 'baby' going off.

i have absolutely no negative rep and I can't figure out why because i'm such an opinionated arsehole.
possibly it's because i don't really neg people much, except for a laugh, that's probably it.

DAMN that's shit.
innit? horrible, screechy, wobbly bullshit. but they have a guy singing one line and a real snare so i guess it's a winner!

This makes me want to kill someone.

0.73, still better than my Battlefield Bad Company 2 K/D ratio!
-
Thas scene where the babies were born scared the piss out of me and I heard the new one was shite and a rip off of Battlestar so I haven't bothered yet.
-
Yeah just shave, no problem! And compensate, get ripped or something.
U2 fans seem psychotically defensive. They are like the Joss Whedon fans of stadium rock.

You got a link?
How was it received?
"What is a Raver" from Christwire.org - Dogs On Acid
Seems like mostly in favour, some detractors of course, claiming a lack of originality.

Human Resources sounds sinister, like people harvesting does, digging up fresh souls from the anthroposphere.
indeed and I've heard that they're bigger and badder and rougher and tougher, in other words sucka there is no other.
They also want to kiss themselves. o_O

Now then, now then uncle Jim
picks a child's dream to fulfil as a whim
or rather he used to
as on chat shows he abused so
his cynical attitudes fired up with the gin

This seems like it could catch on, some guy on another forum came up with the idea. Here's how it works:
Someone suggests a subject for the limerick like, for example, Swiss cheese. The first person to post a limerick on the subject of Swiss Cheese gets to choose the next one. like so:
when Cheddar, Red Leicester or Gouda
won't do and your brie could be louder
what you need to please
is a nice holey cheese
Emmental is as sound as a pounda.
next subject is Cricket. Go!

Councils spend 100m on taxpayer-funded credit cards - Telegraph
Aberdeenshire Council in Scotland spent more than 3,500 on cheerleading pom poms and more than 4,000 on professional hair and beauty products for a hairdressing classroom at a local school.lol

Thanks! All credit is due to Steve Keen though, he's the only modern economist worth listening to, IMO, a student of Minsky's work, who himself was a student of Schumepter.
Basically, his central argument is that our economic growth has been based on private credit expansion for the last 30 odd years (actually now I recall he places the start of the problem in the '60s) and we have now hit a limit, and the monetarist solution of slashing rates will not work as no one is either willing or able to take on more debt.
I would say while oil is powerful, it is as nothing compared to the power of the Lords Of Finance. they really have us over a barrel (pun, lol)

they weren't lampooned in the media for half a decade and/or called people cunts on stage?
it is more tragic since she actually died though.
