  1. Started watching The Prisoner first couple of episodes, based on the series from the 60's. Never even heard of the original series, so thought it was quite good.

  3. April sure is Spring...but it's winter just now...so just making it a bit easier with something to look forward too!
  4. ha ha ha yeah it did!! I also much prefer his body to Jacob's! Third is out in July 2010
  5. Does it remind you of a cross between X-Files and Friday 13th the series (from way back)...they guy looks like Angel's older brother too
  6. Rekindle this thread to say....away to book a an april holiday to Turkey!!! fuck you winter! Anyone ever been?
  7. My neighbour plays his guitar every night all night, might be ok if he was any good, mainly just strumming chords When people jump down the stairs first thing in the morning I find it quite annoying, two at a time then a crashed bang wallop on to the floor.....have some respect! Pet hate - missing mail! who, why wtf....my brithday cards and cheque I was meant to have spent by now!
  8. Warehouse 13 has an ace ending... Eleventh hour was cancelled for S2
  9. I saw this last night, really enjoyed it, probably more than the first one. When Jacob strips off his t-shirt and practically the whole cinema gasped/swooned then giggled for 5 mins was very amusing! haha Have to say I do find Robert Pattinson rather attractive so this helped! Also went to see The Christmas Carol 3D with my niece's, thought the dialogue was a bit much for children but, overall quite an ejoyable take on the story. The detail was amazing and it was slightly spooky and amusing
  10. I got it fixed under my insurance this time.....should the need ever arise again (It better not!!!!) I will keep you in mind! (pm coming your way)
  11. I would like to know why....as there was no valuables on display and plenty other cars there which might of had more fixed now and 60 poorer, thanks mindless scumbags who ever you are... Another thing that annoys me is what can you do about it?? after hearing about so many break-ins houses(my pal got broken into for the second time in 3 months last week on union grove) and cars - surely should be some cause for more CCTV or the likes in these affected areas?
  12. my car was in the new car park off portland street. It wasn't on a road that leads you to anywhere, so someone must have went there for a reason....probably to break into cars...sucks!
  13. Smashed my car window, for no apparent reason. Don't keep anything in my car and it was parked in the car park off crown street. Two other pals have had theirs smashed this year too, one who stays just down from me, hers was parked on the street. Pain in the ass!
  14. Is this the one that cost $15000 to make and made over $100million?? Bet the directors nae given a shite if it's bad tho!! haha Fish Tank - Uk movie bout a bit of a loner girl who is brought up in with her mum and sister, and has a crush on her mum's new boyfriend. She longs to be a dancer and befriends a local pikey....quite a good film, with lots of swearing (mad eit seem more real haha) anda few moments which seemed not quite right. It did keep me gripped tho and wasn't a huge blockbuster, but worth a watch
  15. Vandals!! People who break your property for the shear hell of it or their amusement (really can't think why else) and then you have to fork out money to pay for their damage - cunts!
  16. Elisa Dushka was starting to annoy me in it, so not feeling too bothered about this
  17. hee hee - 17 Again was quite amusing!! Be good to hear what like the original in...b's is like
  18. Taking of Pelham 123 - was ok felt like there was something it was missing or just not getting, but good to see Travolta again and playing a different kind of baddie The Counterfeit - True story set during the war and focused around one of the biggest counterfeiting operations ever, about a guy who is sent to concentration camp for forging notes/passports etc then moved to a slightly upgraded camp but to help the Nazis forge Pounds and dollars alongside jews and other criminals. Quite a touching bit of film, recommend!!
  19. Doesn't have to be Christmas style dinner, seems ot be hard enough finding somewhere open that serves food at a reasonable price! Bollywood is good, I took advantage of their 2 courses for 6.95 menu on my birthday....still aiming towards saigon tho!
  20. Anyone seen any good offers for :(doesn't have to be an actual turkey meal) A) an unofficial (i.e paying for it ourselves so nothing to exp) xmas dinner deal in town... B) Anywhere open on Xmas Day which seems/is decent? Keep finding the adverts that state Xmas Dinner - they don't actually mean Xmas Dinner on Xmas day..... Saigon is top of the list just now....ok not actually xmas dinner but they are open, fine food and not too far to swagger home
  21. Going to try Ask on Thursday, there is buy one meal get one for 1 online so seems like a tempting offer...heard it is good also It's bizarre having a cinema & hotel in a shopping mall...it feels a bit surreal walking around thinking your in Aberdeen. I am quite impressed! I like the fact they have cleaned up the train station exterior and it should be well preserved now it's indoors
