  1. ahaha, anyone watching "breakfast" on bbc 1 this morning?

a report finishes, cut to the two anchors

the male anchor says: "anyone of a sensitive disposition best cover their ears now."

cut to a close-up still of christian bale's face and a recording of a clip of the rant

    F_0_christian_bale_320.jpg

    "you do not FUCKING understand!"

immediate cut back to the anchors looking at each other, completely shocked, before they begin apologising profusely

    chortle chortle chortle

Did indeed see and hear that. Ha! Good old BBC - the first time it was shown was perfectly "bleeped" as well but cue the same report half hour later and it was completly uncensored! Makes not being able to sleep slightly easier to take. :)

  2. Fair point. The current site is pretty bad.

We are in the process of having someone design a new site which will be far easier to update and there will be a few people able to update it unlike at present. The new format will be much better, fully up to date and generally a lot more use! Plan is to go live by the end of this month I believe from last meeting about this.

But yeah in the meantime the myspace is usually okay.

  3. AGP presents

LUVA ANNA - fresh from their TV fame on Orange unsigned we are delighted to have them.

Check the band out in our top friends at MySpace.com - AGP - (LOTS OF NEW SHOWS UP!!!) - 26 - Male - UK - www.myspace.com/aberdeengigpromotions

Dont take our word for the fact they will rock your socks though...

Dont take our word for it...

Luva Anna are the opposite to the neon-clad scensters making music to be forgotten as soon as its aired. A band to truly look out for...

    Clash Magazine

The pick of the new bands on the smaller stages at Connect Festival...their salty sea-shanties have more in common with The Coral. Definitely ones to watch...

    NME

...a band that were born to do festivals...

    Jim Gellatly, XFM

...vibrant musicality and innate sense of melody means they will be known for a long time to come... The Real State Magazine

The music is fantastically off-the-wall, a loose approximation of the Coral colliding with the Pogues in its careening folk-rock energy...

    The Scotsman

Coming from the same Dundee scene as The View and The Law, energetic young quartet Luva Anna are possibly the best of the bunch. The closing Angry Fat Bouncer was the best of all, a frantic grudge match that had the entire crowd dancing, proving this is a band who are easy to fall for.

    The Sunday Mail

...its clear from their opening, perfectly harmonised sea shanty that Luva Anna are a unique proposition altogether...the fact that theyve gained a name for themselves through the festival circuit makes perfect sense. After all, who can resist a folk-rock hybrid that you can dance to?

There you have it! Dont miss out!
