    AGP are delighted to confirm the return of

    VIDEO NASTIES

    are a five piece from West London. It may say UK in the passports but their sound is distinctly American, with gruff transatlantic vocals and muddied meaty riffs prevalent. Comparisons may well include The Strokes, Titus Andronicus, Dinosaur Jr and The National which all leap out to the ears, though one wonderfully lighter moment, Conversation Dies, breezes along like Islands. With the gloom rock rhythms they retain interest and offer hope that their new album will be really something special. A huge thumbs up from me!

    Tour support JAPANESE VOYEURS are a London-based 5 piece based around charismatic lead singer Romily Alice. The story of Japanese Voyeurs began when aspiring songstress Romily met the future Japanese Voyeurs bass player in a bar and two of them hit it off instantly, deciding to form a band.

    Their unique sound and Romily's unusual love-it-or-hate-it vocals, got Japanese Voyeurs almost instantly snapped up by management company Supervision who procured them a publishing deal with Global Talent Publishing. Shortly after they got signed by Fiction Records, which is also the home of Elbow.

    That's a shame in that case. Some people are not very considerate. We were playing in the second tunnel and kept the noise as low as possible in respect for a quiet gig next door.

    Yeah thanks for your consideration in the other tunnel - was appreciated. Hope the night went well!

    It would have been impossible for me to get around everyone talking but I did pick on the worst offenders. Didnt make much difference.

    Its a shame. Think it suffered from being on a Friday. Bit of a catch 22 - either get a big crowd as we did who maybe arent all into the artist or a smaller crowd who are 100% up for the gig. Would have rather had the core of the respectable people who managed to keep quiet and make a loss than have the embarrassment of watching this.

    Ah well no quiet gigs for a while so can be less stressed!

    I quite liked the Doghouse as a venue - no idea if the girl was a dick or not but always a shame to see an important venue go tits up in any music scene especially for decent people like Jonathan who does (did) the bookings for there. Hope someone saves it and gets it up and running again!
