Ah being a Friday might make this tough but otherwise def be there. The Joy Formidable were brilliant at Drummonds a month or so ago and looking forward to seeing Howling Bells again. Been ages since their Kef gig and the new albums sounding awesome.

Mmm yeah you could say that. The part I didnt even notice the guitarist on the dancefloor when I nearly took him clean out was my favourite. The rest of the night is a bit of a blur like. Shame you guys couldnt have come out. Was a top night. Thats presuming you didnt actually come out as I seem to have no recollection of quite a few people who were there. Good times!

Ah Ive just about recovered now so will say a big thank you to all of the bands and Scott on sound (awesome as always). Really enjoyed the whole gig. Everyone was brilliant. Cheers to everyone who came and stuck around for The Muscle Club too. They were really happy that people stayed and really enjopyed Aberdeen!

At Drummonds its impossible with a 8pm door to soundcheck all 5 bands. We arent allowed to make the slightest bit of noise til after 6pm. To set up and soudcheck all 5 would be pretty hard pushed unfortunately - as in the case of the Fat Hippy night mentioned.

Yeah! I cant wait!

Any ideas of times for this. Really fancy it but have a gig in Tunnel 1 - it should be over by half 10 for whatever club night is on after it - so who do you reckon Ill have time to catch?

BUMP!!!! THIS MONDAY (2nd March) XXXX

Mmm this is from ages ago - my side of the story was that bands who sell tickets for our shows (thats AGP) take unsold tickets and money to me at the gig, I then pay them at the end of the night based on that. On this occassion they just kept a 100 odd quid which to be fair is more than I would be paying a fairly new band as they were at the time. At this point I was co promoting with the Tunnels and so understandably they were pissed off with the band and probably me. I apprecaited they made a big effort to get people along and would have paid them well for that show as they had a lot of people there, but dont agree with them just keeping that amount. I believe they thought they were owed money from their first gig at the Tunnels too but no agreement had been made for that one and they were on that show as Id never heard them before and wanted to give them a chance to play a decent show as they were just starting. I have no hard feelings about this at all like. Its forgotten about as far as Im concerned. Im sure if they spoke to Tunnels/Drummonds as in Hen that something could be sorted. They are a very good band like.

ah I love that - remember going to something there before and asking for a pint of lager - not realising they only had bottles so lovely bar person pours two warm bottles of bud into pint glass and said pint is 6! Lovely!
