Basically because we want the majority of tickets to go to local people and because the fees ticketweb charge on top of the face value are harsh so best in our opinion to sell the remaining amount in person with no booking fees etc. These incidentaly will be on sale at Drummonds from Monday.

This is with a band as far as I can see rather than just acoustic. Its a DF show and details have been hard to come by, but should be a good one. Just the two bands on and running times are quite early by the look of the advance I got today. Over by 10pm.

They like science, books and old cameras. In recent years the band have released two singles on Glasgows Indie label Say Dirty Records and played a number of tours and festivals around the UK. They have filmed an appearance on the new TV series of BBC Scotlands Rapal, recorded live radio sessions for Vic Galloway (BBC Scotland) and BBC Northern Irelands ATL as well as racking up Radio 1, 6 Music, and XFM air-time for their previous singles. Definitely wrong about Drummonds - its mainly used for local bands whilst touring bands are more suited to Tunnels. There are no plans to stop local line ups at all. On that note I have heaps of local band slots up for grabs as Im booking there whilst Hen is off for 3 weeks so feel free to email info@thetunnels.co.uk and Ill see what I can do The food in Drummonds generally runs a bit later so soundchecks are pushed a bit later but there is still local stuff on pretty much 7 nights a week. Hope that clears things up!

Fantastic night. Thanks to everyone who came and of course all the bands. Im currently surrounded in bed by members of Tim and Sam and they are probably cowering on the floor as I type thinking the noise is me doing bad things, but seriously loved tonight. Amber was brilliant as always, Loch Lomond were so good I ended up buying 3 cd's, Esperi as always was wonderful and again really liked Tim & Sam. So best go to sleep now - crazy golf trip in the morning apparently!
