  1. It was only a small dash of the stuff, so 40p would have been fairer.

In my (limited) defence, I've only started drinking it to wean myself off Diet-Irn Bru (1.30 a can): ever since I stopped the booze about 4 months ago, I have developed a nasty addiction to it. It's only a matter of time before my excrement has tints of grey zinc or suchlike in it the way I'm going. Nasty.

Try Soda water with lome cordial, a squeeze of fresh lime and a dash of bitters, most refreshing drink i've ever tasted!

And in my experiance that is a tad pricey, most bars either charge between the 20-40p mark for cordial and water, or just dont bother charging at all, especially if it is part of a round.

  2. 69p vodka and mix in tonik monday to thursday

69p vodka and dash in jp's 7 days a week as far as i'm aware.

both use glens, but for 69p who is really complaining?

I've pretty much stopped the binge drinking, a couple of martini's in Korova after work does the trick for me (3.20 midweek, 4 weekend with any gin/vodka of your choice)

  3. I have so many amazing memories of moshulu, the place was practically a second home for me in my very young teenage years... i suppose i owe MASSIVE thanks to jamesy for all the fantastic gigs he put on back then.

I would be very sad to see it go, but i was sadder to see moshulu go, Warehouse to me was like the end of an era, the place was never the same... i suppose i've changed a lot too, but the gigs just never caught my fancy, and the clubnights were in my opinion inferior to korova. Still as a venue it will still be sorely missed, i suppose it will give lemontree a chance to jump on that gap, and with Steven there im sure they will do well, but personally i always prefered moshulu for gigs...

Will be intereasting to see what happens with the building now... i REALLY hope it gets taken over and given the renovations required, but with the costs involved i really can't see it happening, which is sad.

I hope steven/warehouse management manage to get the majority of gigs re-located asap!

  4. Both tunnels and drummonds seem to be a shadow of their former selves recently. A few years ago i was at a gig most nights of the week, and usually in tunnels or drummonds, but i can count the number of times ive been THIS YEAR on one hand. I would still be going to gigs constantly if their was the selection their used to be!

I cant really say much about the onstage sound quality, but the last gig i went to in drummonds the sound was horrific.

  5. Me also.

I can just see that now...

Hi guys, right, ive got a great booking for us..in the style of Ricky Gervais'es Duncan Bannantyne sketch...

Me: Do you remember Art Attack?

    Boss: Aye..

Me: Do you remember the presenter?

    Boss: Aye
