Hi, how are you? Got mine booked in over December – also looking at shoe-horning the amp into a larger open-back 1x12 Session ext. cab I have and adding a loud bass heavy speaker like the Tonker.... or perhaps I wont have to with the Retrotone? Stewart made mine from 80's left over parts in 1998 in the original format (but with a Celestion GT100 instead of the G12H 100 or later Fane speakers) and it needs to be used!

Yo... Yamaha MSG Deluxe guitar on eBay (end time 14-Mar-10 20:07:21 GMT)
-
That is nuts for the trem work! Makes me feel affa self-righteous that I plugged my RM Pro with an off-cut of wood and a screw from Square One (30p) - don't tell Martyn.

ah ha - Graham? I play in Starsky (Globe this Sat) - we have met a few times over the last 20+ years but without ever having really spoken to each other! I used to come and watch you in your Bamboo days at Caesar's! I have PM'd my home number. regards Mac

MSGs Contact Martyn Booth - he designed them for yamaha and has a database of many users. He may be able to point you in the right direction. I have a standard and a custom - the standard is definitely the one you should go for, without a shadow of a doubt - the best bits of a 335 and a Les Paul all in one. The deluxe's trem is a monster but it has a lovely ebony neck. The custom's trem is ropey and the actives are somewhat sterile but the neck is to die for. Forget your PRSs et al. Tel/Fax 01787 370192 info@martynboothguitars.co.uk Hope this helps and good luck. Mac
