Hmm I must have managed to avoid tabloids for longer than I thought' date=' I didn't know she was pregnant.
Tom Cruise isn't that bad, he was good in....erm....nevermind[/quote']
as much as he is a dumbass, i'm not ashamed to admit that i think tom cruise was good in collateral.
i'm more concerned with katie holmes though. i hope that baby ripped her right open. her voice burns my ears and her smile makes me want to vomit.

the chicken noodle soup that comes in a red can.. i think it's heinz. it has peppers and onions and corn in it. it cures colds.

but do they have the right to participate in democracy when they are against it?
well, vegetarians have the right to eat meat, even though they're against it...
and some vegetarians eat fish, which i don't get. but, um, let's see. we live in a democratic society.
so sure. let 'em knock themselves out.
-
Dig! was only good in the way it highlighted what a bunch of petulent, wanky, ass-clowns The Brian Jonestown Massacre are. Bunch of vegetarians.

For the simple fact they are clearly racists.....why should you defend someone who cleary has wrong views about this world....its about as fucking stupid as saying 'I didnt like what the Nazis did' date=' but i will defend their right to believe in what they want to' and no, that isnt a totally irrational comparsion.[/quote']
as much as they are completely racist, and to most sane people this is a bad, bad thing, human rights are there to serve everyone in the same way. the whole everyone is created equal thing.. even if they don't happen to believe that everyone is, in fact, equal...
i'm going to have to agree with cloud in that they should have the right the speak balls if we have the right to speak, what to them, might seem like balls...
it still doesn't mean anyone here thinks they're good people or they're right.

it's the way they live their lives.... listening to the music they listen to, 'dressing up'.. fine, everything else they do might be similar to everyone else, but apart from, i don't know, silent births and being occaisionally a little crazy, scientologists seem similar to everyone else too...
i guess people who feel that need to dress up comes accross (to me) as some need for attention. maybe that's one of the things i find offputting... i don't think what you wear should be such an important part of your life and (generally) i think a lot of the music classified as 'goth' is pretty wanky and painful to listen to without laughing...
besides, i guess why i view it as a lifestyle isn't really important here. what is, is the fact that it IS what i think, and it is my opinion....
i was just trying to point out that people CHOOSE to be goth or be associated with goths, etc. It is a choice. Unlike, say, your comment about judging black people on the colour of their skin instead of as a person... There's a huge difference there..
-
Yes but you're still judging them on something different from them as a person' date=' which is surely fundamentally wrong. The way someone dresses and the music they listen to isnt a reason to judge someone as a person.
Cheers
Stuart[/quote']
no, but it's a fairly good indication as to what someone will be like, seeing as how i view 'goth' as a lifestyle choice, not just a 'look'. i similarly think generally about anyone who practices scientology. fine, there may be one or two people i'd be willing to spend time with but because of my own opinions, i would have so little respect for them that trying to find that one or two people would be a monumental effort on my part.
life's too short to waste time...
-
Would you say' date=' 'I hate all black people' or would you judge them as people first . [/quote']
being a goth is a choice. being born black/white/purple/retarded isn't.

meh. laser eye surgery can't fix my eye. totally blind in one. i'd get it taken out, put it in a jar, and leave in in my kitchen. i'd maybe get one of those glass eyes to take out.. might make a decent party trick..
-
o_O i think i've lost the ability to feel disgust. because i'm sure that's what i would normally be feeling right about now. ooooh, maybe i should self-harm. it might leave some kick-ass scars and make people respect the fact that i have 'problems'.

i didn't think kids went to school these days....

mmmkay. and isn't most of the kerfuffle about how the rich people's house prices will go down?? not all this farm stuff...

-

is this that road that is going to be in milltimber next to all the big houses and the international school that 'everyone' is complaining about?
-
No... not really.
good, i might have choked on my own disgust.
-
