Ah yes it is the top three. Actually the bottom three were done there in two hours, not keen on them so much at all. I had lost my voice and only got one crack at the vocals so not the best shizz in the world like.

Howdy fellow forumists, we, rise, recently did three tracks with Andy at Musical Vision, give them a whirl and let your feelings about them spew forth. Spent 16 hours doing the three I think, minus mixing and mastering for a very reasonable sum of 250. If I was going to attempt to defend these guys at all I would point out Motley Crue were awful a lot of the time... however they had pyro and Pamela Anderson when she was hot... So Toxic Distortion more explosions and more Baywatch babes (if you can remember that programme) and some of us might, just might change our opinion of you. On another note Aberdeen's best known Hair metal/classic rock band (well my mum and Kieran Imray says we are) Rise will be playing in Moorings this Sat with Firebrand. Nothing like a cheap plug

Three is my record and damn right you got to love me, someone needs to lol I didn't take desperately cheesey as an insult, but if you think rise are cheesey you should have seen mine and Mr Imray's old band Rebel Thunder, leather and spandex it's all i'm saying, we might do a one off gig sometime. Also look out for our Motley Crue tribute band landing sometime next year, we're already claiming to be Scotland's premier MC tribute, mainly cos we can;t find another

Actually back to Rise, come and see out "desperate cheeseyness" supporting Firebrand Super Rock (i.e. that band that metal hammer love and supported Slayer recently) in Moorings on December 20. Nothing like some cheap promotion haha. I always thought of us as classic rock but who's gonna argue Congrats on going through btw!

We're looking for a keyboard player as one of our guitarists is sadly leaving. Already got the lead guitar, bass, drums and vocals in place and have been for about year or two now. Influences include: Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, Poison, Thin Lizzy, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard... you get the drift. If you can singing backing it helps, if not then don't worry.
