Applying for an entry level job with offshore Oil and Gas is pretty much a crap shoot anyway.  They key thing to remember in those situations is that the person interviewing you is probably an utter neep.

I think record releases deserve their own thread.  I personally ain't too fussed about t-shirts with words on them.

Fatboy's advice is good - despite self-confidence, stay humble. It's never in the bag.

The only hard and fast advice I would offer is to keep it short and concise. Avoid making your CV a vanity project and remember that some poor sucker has a bunch of these on their desk that they need to read through, and they want to get home at a reasonable hour. Two pages of A4 max.

And don't big it down with personal interests. A line or two, just to show you have a personality. Proving how socially able you are is best left for the interview.

My old man scored a tidy second hand drum kit and I was gifted it for Christmas the year I started high school. After years in various pop punk and heavy metal projects, the drum kit went on to star in Min Diesel.

Thinking about the that last episode it really feels like it was intended as a final episode and then at the last minute they decided they could have another season.

I think they were probably covering their asses a bit, although a bit of a reboot could prolong shelf life I suppose.

Most of the main characters are fully developed and have run their course though.  I don't know if I'm particularly excited about seeing Tom, Ron, April etc as relatively well rounded individuals.

I still haven't watched beyond the first 3 episodes of The League. Does it get better?

I can't remember... I think I was pretty into it from the get go. Although asshole glasses guy's incestuous brother in law comes in later, and he's a good addition.
