The more I think about it, it was a really anti-GoT episode.  They even gave Jon Snow a nice couple seconds to mourn his deceased beloved, mid battle.  I was squirming with anticipation of someone sticking a dagger in his tearful eye at any minute.  But no, he loses the girl (who was pretty much relegated this season), and all the main good guys survive (Unless the slightly more developed Brothers of the Watch were meant to carry more emotional weight... possibly a failure on my part to give a fuck about Pyp and Co.).  There's nothing there going forward that really changes much.  The audience is fully aware that the wall is a shite defence and that something else was going to have to happen to save the day.

We had an airbnb sourced apartment one stop from Sagrade Familia which was a pretty great base for doing other non-Primavera stuff.  Plus it was cheap as fuck for a totally livable wee place.  Great balcony for coffee and tabbies post-wake up too.

Think I'd stick with somewhere along the yellow metro line next time at least though.  Probably worth the cash.

Also, I reckon the giants and the mammoths were actually pretty well done as far as GoT CGI goes.

I really like the variety.  I mean, the Lannisters are probably my second favourite storyline, but if I wanted a series about drawn out old timey backstabbing, I'd watch an ITV period drama.

Yeah, I kinda like the RD... it's got a sort of polished Mosrite kinda vibe.  I can't fathom what kind of weirdo pays big bucks for a reverse V though.  Bet they'd just hang it on the fucking wall.

But yeah, that wasn't what I was hoping for. No shit hot episode 9 'what the fuck!' to lead into the finale. Just a pretty decent scrap... I suppose I've felt pretty spoiled this season. Next one's going to leave us in near physical pain for a year, isn't it.

That's my point though, we should be encouraging children and young adults to not see gender in that way and instead to respect people as people regardless of gender or race or whatever. That should be the focus, and by its nature would improve things for women.

I don't think anyone would disagree with that, but I daresay that you've implied yourself with that sentence that gender attitudes are currently biased against women.

I wouldn't touch the Valvetronix range. They're really not gig-worthy. They're in the same bracket as a Line6 Spider. You could probably get manageable tones out of it for home use, but as soon as you push it to match the volume of a drum kit, then it's going to start cutting holes through glass. Nothin' by treble. Avoid.

On the other hand, I don't want to be a VIP wanker.  I would say that Primavera excels at being a pretty big festival without treating the masses like cattle.
