  2. Laura would like to know whether or not you plan to sleep on the toilet this time? It didn't do Elvis any harm. Oh wait...

i am a spontanaeous kinda guy

ill not book the toilet, but if we are both free and fancy it....

this time can somebody save my phone from being pissed on/dropped in the toilet???

  3. When was the last time a decent band emerged from Aberdeen that was actually original and not hideously clichd or talentless?

    copy ha ho

    filthpact

    project: ven hell

    the staccato set

    small enclosed area

have all been out in other cities/countries doing their thing. all pretty talented and not a cliche in sight

    its a diverse list

perhaps you dont look hard enough

  4. why not go and hand out flyer sin the likes of exodus/tunnels etc and places where you may find people that share your tastes

    actually talk to people

mind you, i think you will do well to get serious band members given the fact that you are leaving this "shitty" city in september

  5. LAETO

for fucking sure. you watch laeto, you dribble and marvel at their ability

then you hear the sound AH whit! i have never heard a dundee band sound so fucking professional. amps are mighty, their heavy bits are heavy, their clean bits are clarity to crystal and they have the tunes to reel in the biggest shark

ALL HAIL LAETO - KINGS OF THE RIFFS AND RIGHT HOOKS

comparing them to the likes of black atom and onion terror does is taking the piss, as entertaining as both can be, we are talking different calbires and superior performances here

  6. whenever I go there for a gig I find it's too loud' date=' the sound techs don't seem to realise that it's a small area, you don't need loud volume to fill the place.

And having no mobile reception is a pain *shrugs* that's it really.[/quote']

its not too loud, its just generally a bad mix for the shape of the venue/attendence

i have heard some awesome sound in there, gatechien, caribou (first time) and ASVA being particular standouts
