  1. Heres the script...

Tonight (Fri 17th Sept) is still going ahead, were still gonna party at The Forum.

But Felix is not going to make it as he is to sick to travel.

...(We have just received official confirmation from his agent. Due to the time difference in the US we only found out for definite now).

We are really, really sorry, it's totally out of our hands. He's just too ill.

    But not all is lost!

***We have reschedule him to play Fri 8th October and all tickets will still be valid!***

Just hold on to your ticket or ticketweb confirmation for tonight and use it on Oct 8th instead.

(If anyone cannot make this date then you can receive a refund from your point of purchase.)

We have put way too much time, money & effort into this event.

So we're still going ahead and will put on a great night for everyone anyway!

It'll be ****FREE FOR TICKET HOLDERS*** 5 on the door for non ticket holders.. Our Funktion One Soundsystem is ready, as is our visuals & lighting etc and our residents such as Mash (T in the Park, Galaxy Fm) will be on hand to smash the dancefloor.

Might even play a Felix track or two.

Lets make the most of it.

    LET IT BLEED x

  2. So, Tonight (Fri 17th Sept) is still going ahead, were still gonna party at The Forum.

But Felix might not make it as he is currently unwell :( Hopefully hes gets better & makes his planned flights.

If he does not, then we will reschedule him to play Fri 8th October and all tickets will still be valid! Fingers crossed he does make it tho.

Either way we have put too much effort into this event so we'll still go ahead and put on a great night for everyone. Our Funktion One Soundsystem is booked, visuals, lighting etc and our residents such as Mash (T in the Park, Galaxy Fm) will be on hand to smash the dancefloor. LET IT BLEED x

Saturday 25th September at The Forum

    Let It Bleed Presents

Joe Goddard (Hot Chip) + Raf Daddy (Greco Roman) = THE 2 BEARS

So after Joe smashed a SOLD OUT Snafu earlier in the year he's back!!

And this time brought a friend with him.

Joe really needs no introduction as he is one of the main dudes behind the truly awesome HOT CHIP!! Also a dj and producer in his own right.

Raf Daddy is a DJ, radio presenter, promoter, producer and general musical man about London town whose CV includes running labels for Basement Jaxx and his own one Greco-Roman. Also working alongside Drums Of Death and Toddla T.

When Joe and Raf combine they become super DJ duo THE 2 BEARS.

They are well renowned for their radio show on Ministry Of Sound and releases on Southern Fried Records (along side Crookers, Armand Van Helden & Cagedbaby) such as Follow The Bear and Mercy Time. Annie Mac, Rob da Bank & Giles Peterson are all fans.

You maybe seen The Bears rock the Rizla arena at Rockness and various other festivals up and down the country such as Lovebox, Bestival and Glastonbury. If not, well nows yer chance.

Expect house, electro, garage, disco, rare Hot Chip remixes, exclusive 2 Bears tracks, good times and great people.

As per usual we will have the finest Funktion One Soundsystem installed and lots of lovely lights and visuals.

Advance tickets **only 8** or 12 on the door.

    www.clubsnafu.com Optimo • (Espacio)

The finale of Snafus 4 day 6th birthday special - featuring special guests Optimo, alongside Snafu residents on warm-up duties.

Its birthday time again for Snafu, this September we celebrate our 6th Birthday. What a year it has been! One or two bumps along the way but mostly its been another great year with top guests, great nights, good times and not forgetting being voted as one of the best clubs in the whole WORLD by DJ mag!

To help us celebrate 6 years of Snafu goodness we have none other than Scottish DJ legends OPTIMO coming to entertain you all and help blow out our candles.

Optimo have been at the forefront of the UK clubland for over 10 years now and are probably most famous for their legendary, adventurous and hedonistic Sunday nights at Subclub in Glasgow. They have that special talent for mixing every genre under the sun and constantly push boundaries which has made them one of the most indemand DJ duos in the world.

Were over the moon to have Optimo come play our birthday party.

Come join us for a night of rambunctious celebration and maybe some cake.

    6 advance / 5 Snafu members / 8 on the door

Tickets available from One Up, The Athenaeum(no booking fee) and Ticketweb

  5. haha, there's some tasty membership...

and as for the noise, I doubt that's the reason they closed tbh! how many years has the Warehouse part of the building been used as a music venue/club?

Yet no major complaints until now?? bit sketchy to me :p

New owners/management at Reilys kicking off about it apparently.

  6. I never said the police made the request, I said this is what we'd do in any situation like this , regardless of which club it happened in. The TKs management also wanted to avoid any discussion or reporting of the incident until the police had said it was OK to reopen the club.

So, yeah, discuss away, now. Just bear in mind that friends and relatives of the person involved in this incident will no doubt come across this thread and others on the site.

As I said, I was just intrigued.

I heard so many different accounts of this incident that I thought there might be some clarity provided on here by people who actulaly know what went on.

This is obvioulsy not the tread to discuss it.

I hope the person involved has a speedy recovery.

  7. We kept comments about what happened in Exodus off the site until the police were satisfied there were no suspicious circumstances, the same as we would about any incident that may be the subject of an ongoing criminal investigation. As it stands, a girl was found injured in the club toilets, the police cleared the venue while paramedics treated her, and it remained shut on Saturday and Sunday. The police don't believe anyone else was involved and are appealing for witnesses.

    I'm intrigued.

Was this a decision taken by yourselves? Or at request by the mangement at Exodus? As theres no way the police made this request.

Does this now mean its ok to discuss ?

  8. Im not greeting. The site wont get into trouble as its public web forum. Were not the press or in court.

They will happily allow comment regarding other " ongoing police investigtions" . It double standards thats all.

I dont really care. Its just annoying.

  9. To clarify.... Triple Kirks management has asked that we don't have any speculation about what happened there on Friday night are this is still a police investigation going on, or some such malarkey. That was the case at the weekend, and AFAIK is still the case now. So until one of the better mods gets here and makes a decision, I'll have to keep deleting them :)

Ahh free speech on AM.com eh.

Feel free to comment about many an "ongoing police investigation"...

As long as its not about Exodus.
