you don't think they can sell out? after headlining the astoria with ONE single and that's near enough 5,000 people, you think they won't be able to sell out aberdeen? meh Also, the two singles they've released have both been top 10, with most recent top 4. it'll sell out, i've got several lads coming up from liverpool for it. and chances are it'll be a mixed crowd of aberdeen residents and none aberdeen residents, although time will tell. yeah, the lemon tree was pretty shit. good support bands considering it ended up being free, but not what i had planned. played a stormer at leeds last week.

yeah, well i bought four tickets for liverpool less than an hour ago, only to find out there's both aberdeen and dundee dates, gutted.

only a few of the dates are on sale via the web at the moment, but i'd keep checking seetickets, ticketweb and wayahead to avoid disappointment.

there was talk of a reunion world tour after the last Mescaleros tour, but then sadly Joe Strummer died. Better to leave the past in the past. Plus that new band setup by Mick Jones, gangs of england, is laughable at best, really really not my cup of tea, at all.

Battle were fairly good aye, The X-certs weren't.. cudos to that bassist of theirs none the less, he seemed fairly up for it. The harmonies and like were alright but the screaming was silly, oh well, each to their own one would say

FUUUUUUUUUUCK! Here dude. Bad news for ya - Komakino aren't supporting anymore. Ryan (the singer) posted on their messageboard... he's lost his voice. Hope you get this message before you head out.. but you might wanna see Battle anyway. I was fucking gutted to say the least - been waiting to see 'Kino for about a year now... Battle are alright but not worth me making the trip upto Aberdeen tonight.

i tought there was going to be an aberdeen date, such a fool. None the less, hopefully will make one of these dates at least. On a sidenote, the new Sigur Ros album is brilliant. And i am going to see them in Edinburgh and in Liverpool (front row seats for Liverpool!) Brilliant!
