I sold them a fairly old laptop. They quoted me a great price, received it, re-quoted me a shite price and then told me they'd charge me a shitload in postage to return it to me. Wouldn't go back for an item like that.

Doc give you any indication of what the problem is? I find that when I get all fucked up some stretches can provide a bit of relief, but obviously depending on what the actual problem is that can fuck you right up as well! Lying on the floor instead of a bed or sofa can be really helpful though, at least in bursts.

Other than that, been listening to Buckle's pod (always excellent), Bill Burr's, Michael Rappaport's, Pete Holmes. A lot of the solo male podcasts seem to have weird misognyst undertones which, even when tongue-in-cheeck is putting me off a lot of people. I find a lot of comedian-talking-to-other-comedian podcasts way too "L.A" with all the self-reflection and neuroses. Then the ones that are 'about' something are often too boring. The NPR/talk radio ones are always good but for comedy, i'm struggling to find anything that hits the mark right now. I'm giving Scroobius Pip's a go just now. OK so far.

I'm pretty surprised that Bill Burr doesn't have misogynist undertones in his podcast, given the massively overt misogyny in a lot of his standup?

My wife went to the doctor with back pain, doctor kept saying "take some pain killers and walk it off". After 4 months of not being able to walk, she finally got put to see a specialist who immediately said it was a slipped disc and that "walking it off" was the worst possible solution.

Started from season 20. Figured i'd pretty much seen every episode give or take up to then. I'd say it's pretty strong at this point. A little bit more esoteric than the early seasons but still lots of clever lines and fairly strong episode plots. 

I started watching The League but couldn't make it past episode 6. It was pretty funny up until that point but this episode was so crass and (for want of a better word, because I wasn't really offended, more shocked these decent actors/writers would consider it comedy) offensive. The plot basically revolves around 5 guys taking the piss out of a woman for a whole 20-30 minutes. Seemingly for no other reason than her name is kinda funny. There's no other joke in there. You're meant to laugh at 5 guys bullying a girl behind her back and sometimes to her face. Would be interested if anyone else has seen it and there's some inside joke I missed or whether it really was a lame as I thought it was.

I watched The League all the way through (background noise more than actually WATCHING it) and it never gets any better.

I fucking loved the shit out of this. Funny, engaging story, good characters, incredible score (written in part by Lin-Manuel Miranda ((the dude from Hamilton)) so of COURSE it's incredible) and overall just a really solid movie. My favourite thing to come out of Disney studios in a long time. Recommended.
