  1. To this day when I hear someone talk about puppies I think about Miss Kitty. Fuck me, The Godfather. That was pretty rank. I guess WWF was just considered LAD entertainment, so they got away with it being a theatrical version of Nuts magazine?

  2. I was ALL about teh Hardy Boiz when I was a nipper. The Attitude era stuff was my fucking jam. Mick Foley/Mankind/Cactus Jack was just an absolute superhero in my eyes. I still periodically rewatch the Hell in a Cell match with Undertaker and it's still absolutely amazing viewing (IMHO).

Also I feel like the horrendous invention of the "Bra and Panties" matches was a major part of my sexual development.

L.A. Noire - Very much feels like a ps3 game. But I do enjoy the story and it was on sale, plus my gf really enjoys games like Telltale Games or Until Dawn so I thought she'd enjoy it too.

GTA V - Started the story again. The driving mechanics (or lack of) in L.A. Noire had me pining for GTA. Plus now there's a Blonded radio station. Driving around Los Santos listening to Frank Ocean - Ivy is all I ever wanted in a game.

My gf just got Sims 4. So I'll probably get stuck in to that too. Rooms without doors and pools without ladders and that.

    TL;DR - Jake got a girlfriend.

  4. The Last Jedi. I actually saw it at the midnight release showing but have been back since and kiiiiiinda loved and hated it.

Rey and Kylo's story arc(s) were pretty awesome, Kylo as a villain is amazing and I can't wait to see how his story plays out. But it was just so.... Disney. The middle installment of the trilogy I expected to be a bit darker in tone to align with Empire, but it was more like Return of the Jedi in that it had some cutesy animals and some pretty laboured LOLz. And the Finn/Rose story was all fucking horrible. Poe Dameron is still awesome but his arc was pretty boring and inconsequential. It felt like they made a 6 hour movie and had to edit it down, but rather than dumping a sub plot and keeping the main plots in tact, they just tried to take little chunks out of everything and ended up with some pacing and weighting issues between the different arcs.

There were also some fucking horrendous CGI clangers in there too that just looks baws as fuck. After Force Awakens and then Rogue One, this felt super disappointing.

  5. Reading The Old Man and the Sea and it's fucking shite.

"The fish was big and fast and the man was tired and the man wished the boy was here because the boy would give him a sandwich."

    Fuck this book.

    You mistyped 2002.

The Red Album wasn't awful. As it went, they played a decent selection of stuff from their whole career, which would have been great if they hadn't made so many shit albums.

  7. Dirk Gently's Holistic Doofery is surprisingly good. Not quite as irreverent and funny as I'd expected, but it has a much slower pace to the comedy of it which fits it really well.

I'm also re-watching Parks and Rec from the start for the thousandth time because life is dog shit but the wholesome goodness of that show is so real that it's like absorbing a hug through your eyes and ears in 20 minute episodes. Relentlessly amazing show.

I think I'm too far in to the countryside to get same day delivery. And far too south. The Amazon warehouse for the UK is in Fife, isn't it?

Their couriers are still garbage though. I have to get stuff sent to an Amazon Locker, or it just doesn't arrive.

I'm in the southside of Poland now so it's a pretty new thing to me but yeah I think it's just north of Glasgow. Though I had assumed there'd be one further south as well?

    Amazon.

    Those guys are crazy.

Bought an Mp3 player in January after my iPod died. It is great, but in the last 2 weeks, the input jack has become really crackly at the slightest touch. Playback goes all distorted or cuts out completely with every step when I'm walking. It's probably a super quick fix, but I wouldn't know how. After a blow with a can of compressed air, and a poke around with a paper clip, that's my know-how at its maximum.

It's still in the 12 month warranty, so I asked how I go about getting it repaired by e-mail. Within 20 minutes, they sent me a confirmation that a brand new one is about to be sent to me today.

    Lunatics.

I honestly can't remember the last time I bought anything anywhere other than Amazon. Especially now that same day delivery is an option! Absolutely astounding.

Definitely needs new pots. The volume pot just came off in my hand. Control knob with the pole piece stuck in, and now no sound comes out.

Just got a Seymour Duncan JB for the bridge too, so I'll put it all back together when that arrives.

That's a pretty impressive level of shit craftsmanship!
