JACK BEATS ANNOUNCE THE WINTER OF LOVE
If youre feeling a little down after Christmas then never fear as multiple award winning DJ duo Jack Beats are setting off to spread a little joy around the country with their Jack Loves tour and the launch of their new residency at Londons legendary club fabric.
From Edinburgh to London and beyond, Jack Beats will be bringing their party starting mix of House, Hip Hop and Dubstep to some of the biggest and best nights in the UK.
The tour coincides with the first of Jack Beats takeovers at FABRICLIVE on March 4th, where they will be hand picking the lineup in the main room. The night kicks off with the likes of Brodinski and some very special guests joining Jack Beats in the DJ booth.
Jack Beats: "This is our first ever official full tour together, so we're going to make sure every show gets smashed hard. In the run up to our debut album we'll be showcasing all our new material and a completely new show, so we can't wait to get on the road, its going to be massive!"

Since teaming up in 2007, Niall Dailly and Ben Geffin have had a profound effect on the club scene. Whether turning out remixes for the likes of La Roux and Florence & The Machine or releasing their own genre bending club smashes like U.F.O EP on Hervs Cheap Thrills label, Jack Beats cutting edge sound has demanded attention.
From day one the duos productions have been well supported by major industry players such as Zane Lowe, Annie Mac (who has played almost everything they have produced), Diplo, A-Trak and the Crookers.

2009 was absolute madness at Everything Else Sucks
We held nights in a total of 4 clubs. Our starting venue, The Tunnels, the original Origin on Market Street (great memories), Korova and now the new Origin. Thankfully we've found our feet at Origin and we're looking forward to 2010 with big nights planned with big guest like A1 Bassline & Malente.
In the last 12 months we've welcolmed some amazing DJ's, big and small to join out residents Djamba, Giles Walker and Eezma. Scottish mad man Hosatge was our first guest followed by Foamo, the legend that is DJ Zinc, Jack Beats, Duke Dumont, Heavy Feet and who can forget our first birthday bash with Shadow Dancer!
For our first night of 2010, Everything Else Sucks residents will be joined by promoter Krazzy Martin and close friend Talcolm X. For 5 hours they will be playing the biggest electro, house and techno.
Next guest will be A1 Bassline on Saturday 13th February!

Imagine the first club you ever get into is, as you step inside, in the process of changing the face of urban music? Imagine youre only 14 at the time, yet youre already a producer. Well, Croydon dubstep star Benga doesnt have to imagine: that is his life.
Age 14 the afro-haired producer went to his first club, Forward>> at Londons now defunct Velvet Rooms, the night widely acknowledged for founding the bassy UK garage hybrid, dubstep.
Having put in years of graft, Benga, now age 21, is a leading light in the rising global dubstep movement alongside his childhood friend, Skream. This year he drops his debut album proper for Tempa, provisionally entitled Diary of an Afro Warrior, after the mighty mane that sprouts from his head. If I cut my afro off, Id have to start again musically, laughs Benga.
Aside from the best haircut in dubstep, Benga has a lot to be happy about. At 15 he released his debut 12 Skank/Dose on one of dubsteps founding imprints, Big Apple. A&Red by one of the most influential DJs in dubstep, DJ Hatcha, the label was run out of the Croydon shop of the same name, the hangout for much of the early pioneers and future stars such as Artwork, Horsepower, Hatcha, Chef, Plastician and Skream.
For years Benga, alongside first Skream, then Loefah, Coki and Mala Digital Mystikz, built exclusive musical ammunition for DJ Hatcha. It was this material, aired by Hatcha alone at Forward>>, that propelled dubstep from UK garage offshoot to innovative genre in its own right
After early mentoring by Arthur from Artwork, Benga refined his trade working for a professional studio, linked to the biggest labels in the world. He produced for grime MCs such as Crazy Titch and Ghetto, before concentrating his output on dubstep in 2005.
Since then hes had releases on electronic stables Planet Mu and Hotflush, self released his own CD and become a respected DJ in his own right, playing throughout Europe and Australasia. Now, all eyes are on Bengas debut album proper for Tempa, not least because it contains this summers largest anthem in Aiya Nappa and Malia. Co-produced with Coki Digital Mystikz, the tune Night is a hit not just with the dubstep heads, but with both grime and funky house crowd. With this between its pages, it sounds like the Diary will be a must-read.

The Brookes Brothers have emerged as one of the major breakthrough drum n bass artists of recent years. Raised in London, the two brothers discovered a love for the more soulful sounds of drumnbass around the turn of the millenium. It was not long before they began producing in 2002. Fast forward seven years and the brothers have already established themselves as some of the most exciting producers on the scene. In 2007 the Brookes Brothers were exclusively signed to Fresh and Adam Fs Breakbeat Kaos imprint. MUMDANCE (Mad Decent/Vice)
Mumdance is an umbrella term used to describe the various activities of the enigmatic Jack Adams. After spending two years working for Vice Magazine putting on all their events, Jack decided to fly the nest and do his own thing: DJing, making music and putting on parties.
Barely three months into making music, Mumdance caught the attention of Diplo by bootlegging his remix of the Black Lips' "Veni Vidi Vicii" and giving it an unusual baile - grime glaze by adding beats, bleeps and bars by East London grime MC Jammer. This unofficial bootleg received national radio play from Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1 and Sinden on Kiss FM, as well as being a huge hit on the club and blog circuit.
Mumdance DJ sets comprise of many different genres of bass driven music re-contextualised and played in quick succession. He is known for live edits, loops and effects, as well as spanning almost every electronic genre in a set. Expect garage, bassline, grime, electro, fidget, niche, dubstep, funky, minimal, techno, house and jungle all effortlessly mixed together like a delicious musical smoothie. The success of this formula is reflected in the wide range of events that Mumdance has been booked to play, ranging from rowdy East End grime raves, to chic fashion and media events.

DJ Q’s musical journey started from a young age listening to music played by his parents. It was at the age of 12 when Q first got involved with the UK Garage scene, buying vinyls and tape packs. When his vinyl collection grew larger Q finally got a pair of record decks in his bedroom. After teaching himself to mix Q started to get bookings at local parties at the age of 15.
Q's break came was when he was invited on as a guest on one of the UKG shows to showcase a few of the songs he produced. While at the station he dropped off a mix CD, and was later asked to host a show on one of the UK's leading radio stations. Q Joined 1xtra in 2004 as a DJ to host the UKG Mixshow, being the youngest DJ at the station he brought a new energy and sound to the airwaves.
It was around the same time Q released his first vinyl, 'Love Like This (The Reasons)' which was a big hit on the Bassline scene. This was followed by 'Tea Bag', 'Dirty' and later 'You Wot!' Which was signed and released via Ministry of Sound. 2008 saw Q hit mainstream success with remix credits to his name such as Amy Winehouse, Dizzy Rascal, H20 feat Platnum, Keri Hilson and Katy B to name a few. Q has also remixed and worked with the likes of Rusko, Toddla T & Shola Ama, Boy Better Know.
Aside from the Weekly 1Xtra show, DJ Q has been embraced by Radio One with many guest slots such as 'the Essential mix', Trevor Nelson's Saturday show, a mini mix for Annie Mac, Rob Da Bank, The Review Show with Nihal, Mary Anne Hobbs, Mistajam & Pete Tong's 'In New Music We Trust', Q has also played music in various countries over the years such as Ibiza, Malia, Ayia Napa, Kos, Corfu, Switzerland & America.
