  1. One more thing' date=' whatever happened to a little rule following! :p

One movie per letter! One person had 6 for a letter. You can't simply just say for instance; L: Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Well, which one was best? Just one movie per letter! Makes the game fairer, and a little tougher to narrow down your favourite films![/quote']

Ok, Return of the King. I still say they're all one fantastic film.

  4. I've heard some of Muse' material from various bootlegs from Earl's Court etc. and it's fantastic. From hearing the song that has been christened "Debase Masons Grog" I know that we should be expecting some major riffs and a side of Muse never heard before. This should be expected in Winter this year I should think.

On the other front, Radiohead have produced Arpeggio. With hope the rest of their album will be as good.

Does anyone know anything about the two albums? Just wondering. Also, anyone heard of a Pixies album coming out some time this year. Just a rumour I heard. Anyone?

  5. From what I hear it's going to be similar to Doc Hollywood. Y'know' date=' arrognat ass-hat car learns a lesson kinda story. Even though I think "Cars" has fugly character design, it could be good. Who though a story about a missing fish would be interesting?[/quote']

Love the comparison, plus you made it seem much more interesting. Scene point!

  6. Taking from two sides in a recently closed arm thread I can't help but notice half of people here crack jokes about it' date=' the other half take offence to it. Personally I feel joking about such a subject is a perfectly valid response to such a story. There are several ways people can deal with horrible events and it strikes me humour is one of the best ones, I'm sure nobody actually approves or necessarily finds it funny in the act itself, its just simply trying to put a lighter perspective on a tragic scenario rather than simply loosing even more faith in the world we live in.

So yeah, I vote for allowing humour in such cases... Too early in my morning can't write as articulate a post as I would like, will try again later,

Humour to cover tragedy. That's really too general a statement. Seriously, using humour at a tragedy like that is NOT funny in any sense of the word. Maybe for a personal tragedy, but this is is tasteless. What the hell's wrong with losing faith in the world we live in? It is in fact slipping away from any sort of moral structure so just accept that, okay? Making fun of armless children is NOT funny and the morals of some people here are awful.

  7. Toy Story 3 AND 4? *groans* This will be miserable. Disney will probably render them too much taking the magic from it all. It's like Disney these days to screw up. Anyway, we need original ideas here. The Lion King was great... then Simba's Pride... then the third one... what the hell, why can't they leave a good idea alone? The latest "original" ideas they came up with (Hercules, Tarzan) also sucked. Come on Disney, it's actually been about 40 years since anything good was made by you. Either give up or lose the corporate fashion of developing a franchise. Plus, the new fashion of re-releasing the classics as remasters of the originals is bad. The originals were perfect the way they were. They should really focus on some new animations rather than selling novelty t-shirts or expanding their Disneyland borders
