    I like rock, indie, blues, some folky stuff, some dance music (like a bit drum and bass), Indonesian gamelan and a bit of experimental stuff (like Steve Reich, Phil Glass)!

    Indeed, Drakes will be much missed . . . but, in time, something else will eventually come along to fill that gap in the music scene of Aberdeen! I was lucky enough to have played my first proper gig, weeks before Drakes's closing (I am Dan Leckie - played on Thursday 13th Jan), so thanks for that and all the best for the future, Sharon, Jim, Leanne, and all others involved. 1 question - what's going to happen to the building now?
