I've heard people calling Warning a political album, but I find it hard to agree with that. Warning is more about, the more obvious links, of not following everything you're told to do. Minority could easily be mistaken for a political song, but the lyrics are actually about getting people to not to follow the norm and to be a have a bit more of their own identity. This same themes is present on the whole album, even through to sexual preference in Blood Sex and Booze. American Idiot is Green Day's first 'full frontal' political album. Stephen - as for the connection to Ruby Soho, I'm not really hearing it..I've tried listening to Ruby Soho a few times to make the connection but can't..Ah well che
