well i dont think its that good, the vocals are too high in the mix, andys voice has lost its rawness that made their earlier stuff so enjoyable, it sounds more like the kse / sf sound that everyone is into at the moment. fair play to them, they will reach a wider audience and do much better. i dont want to agree with the sold out tag which has landed on them but if you have followed the band for the last couple of years you can see why this has happened. maybe it will grow on me, i dont know.

the new caliban album is shite. its so over produced and sounds nothing like their old material. i bought the new these arms are snakes album, and its the fucking business.

bands that dont exist - i guess rollins era black flag, graves era misfits (danzig is a tit), grade - ive seen them twice but they have split up now, at the drive in, anatomy of a ghost bands now that i havent seen - samiam, shattered realm ive seen most of the bands ive wanted to see really. id travel to see samiam though!

didnt think much of the first band certain death were ace (metal beastie boys anyone?) and torch, wow i was impressed. and such nice guys as well, they deserved a much bigger audience. hopefully they will get a support slot with a bigger band as they really should be seen by loads more people (bad english?) and the dancer was class, what drugs was that guy on?

salem will not be playing this gig as one of the guitarists has left the band, they have cancelled all of their uk dates.

I know there will be loads of different stuff going on but this would be the best idea ever 1. get a merry band of forum members to create a misfits tribute band 2. have them play at a venue somewhere 3. get down and boogie any takers?

the edinburgh show will be better - the liquid rooms is a much cooler place to see a band than the garage

every other website has the edinburgh date listed as the 3rd. even the liquid rooms site.
