I heard that the studio stuff was mean't to be good... did a guitarist leave recently?

  2. Okay, I couldn't find a suitable picture on the internet of it, and i can't take a photo of it since im not in aberdeen. the fretboard is rosewood and i am willing to sell for about 350 since it is limited edition and it has seth lover p/ups.

i wont be in Aberdeen 'till the start of July though...

Because he's musically lazy, he doesnt just change key, he tunes up to accomodate (being lazy and all) so he can play easy open chords in F rather than E (where he cant sing)

    Wat a clever bar steward

Exaclty, it was on his own laziness that the guitars *kinda* gut tuned up to F... Ane it wasn't open, he still had to play power chords, he was actually that lazy! lol

His excuse is that he was too poor to buy a tuner and his knackered old jaguar always went into that tuning... but i suspect he tuned it to suit his voice, and to try rip off sonic youth.

  5. I had an old Boss octave pedal a few years back, and it sounded pretty cool, but it didn't sound like a bass...oddly enough for Jack "not use modern equipment" White, he uses a digitech Whammy (the original one i think), so he'll have gotten the 7 nation army bass sound out of that...

  6. Fun house by the Stooges underrated?! Most reviews/people i talk to say it's the best stooges album.

Smashing Pumpkins ~ Adore - A great album that was hugely slated when it came out and lost the Pumpkins their U.S. fanbase... Can't agree with Machina unless you include Machina II. B0lly seemed to lose all judgement when picking which tracks and which arrangements to use from this point, and that includes Mary Star of the Sea, so many great songs left out.

R.E.M. ~ New Adventures in Hifi - Nobody ever seems to like this record, but it's definately my favourite R.E.M. record

Trippy Daisy ~ Jesus Hits like the Atom Bomb - Nobody seems to have heard of Tripping Daisy, but this album is a great example of Amerikan indie psychodelic pop. Every song on it is great.

Van Morrison ~ Veedon Fleece/Saint Dominic's Preview - While Astral Weeks is obviously Van the Man's best wrok, these two get overlooked. The Veedon Fleece does take a while to grow on you though.

Aye, but that was a slower grungier version of aneurysm, the version from insesticide and live versions were better [/Nirvana geek] ...i could never really figure out why they recorded that version, cos i've never found a live recording of it in that arrangement...
