I'm back from beyond to say that this, definitively, is a Screen 2 on BBC 2 film (not series) from 1995 (not 88-91 or whatever I said before) called Black Easter, starring Trevor "Eddie Shoestring" Eve, apart from that it is unfindable to watch, sadly.

Just got a TC Ditto Looper, even my sense of timing can get something out of it, infinite layering for bespoke loopage, also last year I got a Mellowtone Mini Wolf Computer, and a Rouse Electronics Pink Crystal Fuzz (FuzzFace clone), need a tap tempo delay with expression pedal input now...

Just finished Lampedusa's 'The Leopard', which was a nice little palate cleanser after finishing 'Gravity's Rainbow', and starting John Barth's 'The Sot-Weed Factor' which is in a pseudo-18th century stylee, as it were.

Also the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers Complete Omnibus- awe inspiring greatness.

Everything in life has it's natural ebb and flow, don't push it, when inspiration fades is the time to get into new styles to recharge the creative battery. I had a big shift away from guitar playing in the 90s, that's when I learned to sample, sequence and synthesise, then I got back into it later. It's all too easy to feel guilty about not feeling creative, but fuck that, you can't let yourself down if you're not feeling it after all.

It's one of those things that you never think make that big a difference until you try it out, and then you can never go back, like well made fuzz circuits. Valve watts are almost always more everything than Solid State watts, my wee 15 watt Laney Cub outperformed a Vox Valvetronix 50w under gigging conditions a fortnight ago, not even miked up, running on full it sounded ace, with tuneful feedback on tap.
