A 300lb gorilla that was taught to talk using sign language had a 'nipple fetish' and demanded to see naked breasts, according to a lawsuit filed by two of his former handlers.

Koko, who has a vocabulary of 1,000 words, had a 'nipple fetish' according to the suit filed against his owners at the Gorilla Foundation, near San Fransisco.

Two women handlers who claim they were sacked for refusing to take off their tops for the 33-year-old ape launched the half-million-pound lawsuit.

Nancy Alperin and Kendra Keller allege they were told to indulge Kokos fetish by the apes 'teacher', Francine Patterson, who has spent 30 years teaching the lowland gorilla to use sign language.

According to the lawsuit, on one occasion Patterson said: "Koko you see my nipples all the time.

"You are probably bored with my nipples, you need to see new nipples."

Although the two women never undressed, they claim Gorilla Foundation president Patterson pressured them "to perform such acts regularly and consistently, and on at least one occasion outdoors where others could see".

No offence, but thats a bit of a ridiculous attitude! You listen to vinyl rather than CDs because its "cooler"? Surely someone who genuinly likes the music wouldnt care how cool the medium they listen to it on is, but would prefer to choose a medium to get the best experience of the music
