  1. I'm so so excited! Halloween!!!! Kicks ass, in my opinion better than Christmas, so I'll be making the most of this brilliant night! Not gonna tell what I'm going as cus I like to surprise...don't expect anything too big cus it's just the same thing I go as every year, I'll try to make it a little different though...ooh, I'm so excited! Wow...only 6 weeks and 3 days...fucking right! I've been counting since 8 weeks and 3 days... :dunce:

  2. There is going to be an awesome gig a kef this Friday(17th September).

Broken Sunshine - Think Fenix TX but all girls!! It is there EP release and it will be a lot of fun.

You've made me a very happy girl Scott! But i agree, I dont think we sound like them, would be the coolest thing ever if we did though...ah, Fenix TX...

  3. My 2 year old bass has recently started cutting out after playing a few songs. You can still hear it, but its very very quiet and fuzzy sounding. I was wondering if anyone could help me? I think it's just some sort of wiring problem, but I was wondering, other than R n B, where can I take it? Not that I have anything against R n B, I'm just exploring all my options.

  4. Hmm...The acoustic guys (Open Air..?) were pretty cool, I thought. Not my kinda thing at all though, so I wasn't really paying attention, but, of what I heard, they were still good guitarists and singers. Five Finger Discount are a good band, they'll be better with time, obviously, but last night they weren't at their best; I've seen them better...like their first gig, for example. The Deviada's (?) were pretty good, I didn't know what to expect and I was pleasantly suprised! They were ace to just sit and chill out to, and some songs were good to kinda cheesy dance to which was ace! I think Broken Sunshine played pretty good, I havn't seen us play that well for quite a while. But as a band, generally, we dont move around that much on stage...I dont know why...I guess we're just not confident enough to move around and stuff.

  5. Hehe...that sounded quite evil...hmm...you dont have something evil planned for us do you? Hehe. No, it should be a great night. Unfortunatly I have work the next morning at nine so I dont think i can stay out too late...but maybe I could just not sleep. Hmm, I guess Ill just see where the night takes us! :D

  6. haha this means were playing three gigs that weekend ... Aberdeen ....Brechin...Glasgow....crazy 3in a row...yeh can't wait to do KEF again.. shame about state of affairs.. we played with them in dundee before and they owned it.. made us look like amateurs(not saying much) but they were awesome...managed to pull of a perfect cover of Ace of spades...i was well impressed..but yeh we'll be playin the gig then goin out on the town with the broken sunshine ladies! Sounds like a fine night

Oh it will be...my fine man, yes...a night of it we will make...

Haha! Um, no seriously though. It looks as if PoO will be able to do it too, so it's now PoO, Crashdown (what lucky girls we are :)) and us Broken Sunshine lasses going out after. Oh what a great night it'll be...........:D

  7. Och aye you were pet. But it was all sorted it the end.

    Aww...pet :O how cute...

Yeh, Crashdown are great guys! Cant wait til they come up again cus I love having them at mine, and they totally got the crowd going at the last gig which made the night for us! It was so good, I know, I keep going on about it, but seriously, if you weren't there, you fucking missed out!!!

  8. I'd have loved to see them play too, cus I always miss seeing them for so long :( But crashdown have played before so Paul's heard them and knows them. And Paul wants them to play too. He doesn't know SOA unfortunately, and at this late stage in organisation, he's not prepared to get someone he doesnt know, from another place. I mean, when crashdown played in Kef for the first time, it was all such a mess cus we were soundchecking when they arrived in Aberdeen so I couldnt go and find them, so I had to get members of PoO to go to meet them and take them back...I was so stressed out as some witnesses will tell you... I also had the stress of actually doing the gig on top of that! It was all such a mess!!

  9. Em...Actually, that was just an inquiry as to whether, if needed, they would actually be able to play. Unfortunately, they cant do it as Paul is wanting Aberdeen bands and he's never heard them. Next time maybe!

The launch is definately happening on the 10th, which is a week on friday. Fingers crossed, anyway! Other bands comfirmed so far are Crashdown (YAY!!) and Contra (also yay!)

  10. I'd also like to say thank you to the other bands who played, I had an amazing time. It was probably the best gig ive been to in ages, due to the audience and bands being brilliant! It was so great to see most people stay til the very end, and also to see people dancing away! It was brilliant, the highlight would definatly be when we got all the bands onstage, that was so much fun! The best gig I've ever played, but not the best I've personally played-I fucked up a lot! Thanks again to everyone who came and stayed :D

  11. Did you know you can now download all of "Swallow this Punk"' date=' the first point of origin cd, for free on,

    [url']www.purevolume.com/pointoforigin ????

    If not now you do.

Theres my piece of promotion hehe

Well done!! But...I'm too lazy...So I wont bother doing that! Hehe. I think I heard it a couple of years ago actually...is that the one with the really well known Point of Origin song? Something about Sluts in the title...I could be wrong...
