Wish I could go Probably wont be able to... But you never know...

What an awesome gig! Caffeine were great, a whole lot better than last time I saw them! And the last time I saw them there were a lot more people there too. They had a brilliant stage presense and were much tighter than the last time too. Everyone was dancing at one point, it was kick-ass! I got hit in the face, and then me and Lisa fell over... well, I fell over and I grabbed her to try and stay up, but she ended up falling too... Hehe. Good times.
Unbroken Silence were a lot better than the last time I saw them too, maybe that was cus of Camie's amazing performance But the covers... Ive said it all before, but its understandable cus Camie only had a few days to learn them.
Gilman St were cool too, didnt see much of their performance, I was attending to my drunken friend... Ooh, it wasnt pretty.
I thought Broken Sunshine played pretty well too, I think it's been our best gig for a while, and the audience made it totally kick-ass with the conga line (???) and the sweet dancing. Cheers

Hey, I sang at your wedding too!!! So, I didnt sing a solo... I was still singing!
Yeh, there are copies in One Up. If not, we've got copies still.

Underworld.
Kate Beckinsale+leather catsuit.
surely that's reason enough.
Van Helsing
Same reason.
Sorry, I started writing my post before you put up yours, no offence intended.

Do you think modern vampire movies have destroyed the mythology of vampires?
Yeh, have you seen Underworld?! Meant to be a movie about vampires and werewolves, but it's all about weapons and fighting between the two sides, there's hardly any of the mythology behind vampires in it at all.

no!! That sucks ...imagine bein told you were supporting the damned and then suddenly its ' date='no ...that sucks.... when are Broken Sunshine next playin anyways... i'm gonna come along[/quote']
Thanks Dave, havnt seen you in ages so you should come.
Also, thank you to all the support we've had about opening, or not opening, for the Damned. We are all pretty gutted, but still intent on having a good night, so see you all there!
-
I loved it!! j.d and the cokes were ace! Pretty good night, didnt stay for the quiz though.
-
Haha, thanks. We've learnt to take it and ignore it all really, I dont have feelings about it all. But, thanks for the support!!
-
with support from 10 easy wishes! yey!
And Broken Sunshine!
-
Were you even at Kef?? I didn't see you...
-

An all female Tribute To The Ramones
Sweet! I'll be at that then!

Halloween is the best nite of the year. It's been scientifically proven.
Tis true...it's the best night EVER.

Wow! The used are amazing! I've wanted to see them for years!!! Both albums are brilliant, but they're quite different and you can see the improvement and growth of the band on the new album. I think I prefer the self-titled though, but it's pretty close for me. Any idea how much tickets are?

Darren, I know your first name

I dont really think Five Finger Discount and BS are that similar to be honest, they're a bit more punky, we're a bit more poppy. It just wouldnt work...sorry
And I'm not sure they'd be too happy with that idea either!

A scene to be successful needs music of all genres' date=' not just metal, hardcore, metal punk. It needs the whole deal. I like the Aberdfeen scene for that very reason, because there is diversity. And in my opinion, there are bands would pay week in and week out to see, and Ill admit that maybe Broken Sunshine are on that list, but I make the difference between a band not being in my taste, and a band who have my respect, because they are trying, and they are enjoying the challenge. No band is ever going to please everyone, it is impossible, so therefore what is important, is that you are trying, you are enjoying it, you stand up for your music... And that is what SnowWhite is doing... Good on you for that, and keep up the work! [/quote']
Recently we have been playing a lot, and, when we started playing gigs, I didnt want to become one of those bands who plays every single weekend who people would just end up getting bored with, because I ended up hating one band cus they played so much I just got sick of hearing them over and over again. But, in our defense, we have been playing so much recently to promote the release of our CD. We are now taking a short hiatus and arnt actually playing til Halloween, thats almost a month.

Thank you for your construction. It is helpful to hear comments like that. To be honest, thats probably the most in depth comment we've had about our music, and for that, I thank you.
-
I really didn't like them that much at the start. But you know' date=' kinda had to be there at every gig or get my ass kicked. But now i'm there through "cult following" support, and also through choice. They just suddenly got better. And continue to. Which is always good. And they are 3 of the nicest girls you'll ever meet. Except that Alex, what a bitch... my god.
The music never really was my thing to start with, but they grew musically and started to write songs which aren't crap. So now, they are a good band. I don't know if that made any sense at all.
Meh.[/quote']
Haha, the only bit that really made sense was the bit about me being a bitch...tis true as quite a few people will tell you. I dont do it on purpose though...much.
-
Oh' date=' aren't you a nasty piece of work miss self-importance...
Jamesy W.[/quote']
Em...what?
-
nobody headlines ''local band'' shows. Someone has to play LAST' date=' as Norman's Fetish were the main support prior to Solabeat pulling out, it was only fair that they retained that slot.
They were not headlining.[/quote']
Thank you Camie almost got me started on that and, as you've witnessed Paul, that aint the best of ideas.
-
yeah you's right about that one.
I hope that's a compliment
-
I am! Just not stuff that isnt of any help, if you get me... Why do you not take us seriously then? Whats so cliche about us?
-
I believe their CD was recorded live with only a vocal dub and a little compression added. The playing was to all intents 'live' and in real time.
Tis true, it was. But it was recorded a good while ago....
The CD's great...go buy it
