  1. And a lot of people find him very offensive' date=' should he be allowed to offend others for the sake of his liberty? What about their liberty?

    Swings and roundabouts...

(imo, people should be allowed to counter his views in public rather than banning his views...)[/quote']

Providing he causes no non-consensual harm upon anyone else, there should be no grounds for silencing anyone, anywhere. I fail to believe that this guy is even very offensive. The only people offended would surely be people of differing religions, who still have no right to curb anyone elses freedom on the grounds of their own over-sensitivity.

  2. this is good:

people should also have the freedom to be able to go shopping without someone blasting his religious views through a speaker?

I think you have your priorities wrong here, you're just saying something for the sake of saying something. Should I have the freedom to go shopping without having to queue? Without having to see orange girls shooting their mouths off? Do you really care about this guy so much you'd willingly sabotage his liberty?

  3. Oh' date=' and as for Jehovahs' witnesses, I don't care for them at all. I think it's very wrong to turn up on people's doorsteps and try and impress religion upon them.

Like that speaker thing outside Marks and Spencers.

It's the individuals choice whether or not they want to be religious.[/quote']

I don't think it is 'wrong' to talk publicly about your religion. Even if he's annoying, 'Dj Bible' is entitled to the same freedom of speech you are.

    Nazi..

  4. Well the fact that you actually talk about synth philosophy is ridiculous. If it sounds good use it' date=' regardless of whether it boosts your sound sculpting ego or not.[/quote']

I've always found that a bit of messing around has always created much better sounds than the presets and I don't think I would use a preset even in the extremely unlikely event that it fits my tune. Its just a weak shot, a limp way out of spending time over something and would give me that little less piece of enjoyment when listenening back over a piece

  5. .........

well' date=' yeah. if you have to change your name because your "real" name fucking sucks, that pretty much makes one a loser by default.

    QUOTE']

So you slag him off for changing his name, then justify him doing it:

Bob Dylan wouldn't be the person we perceive him as if he had been marketed as Robert Zimmerman.[/
  6. Every game i have seen mackie play in a dons shirt he has gone in with rash challenges' date=' dived for free kicks and pens, needlessly timewasted by faining injury, and squared up to (is mackie brave or stupid?) the likes of Tokely and Munro.

    .[/quote']

It could be because he is from the mighty Kemnay!

  7. he doesn't mention anything about money' date=' i believe its all for charity.[/quote']

I can't imagine charity has much use for drum tuition. Especially as A'deen is definately not a registered charity, is it? Or am I the only one on here with a fully functioning body? Or something..?

I'm sorry, its just, when I see an advert for drum tuition, with no mention of them being free, or in the name of charity, in a music website, that isn't a charity, I must admit, being the fool I am, that the immediate assumption that I (again, stupidly) jump to, is that there must be some sort of transaction going on here, with financial gain to the 'offerer' of such service.

If not then Biz is one hell of a guy! But he needs work on his marketing skills. If the lessons are free then I'm sure interest will increase TENFOLD if he actually mentions this minor fact.

(obviously you didn't mean there would be no money being handed over, and that such money would be what is going to charity. You should probably be more clear about things in future, so dumbfucks like me can understand it and don't have to create long-winded explanations for their misunderstandings)

    *teehee*

  8. Historically insignificant???

I deemed that expensive records are purchased on the basis of their potential to appreciate in value. This one, I think, will not, in the way, say, an original 'Abbey Road' would. Maybe my terming is inaccurate, but I thought off the top of me 'ead that that this record will never amount to any status of importance in the history of music, as 'collectables' surely should be?

  9. Anyway' date=' for purely aesthetic reasons alone, Pittodrie should be demolished. It looks utterly ridiculous. Refurbishing it would be like polishing a turd. Let's get a custom built 25000 seat arena which Aberdeen can be proud of.

    .[/quote']

..but the crux of the matter being that the Dons are still performing far below potential, a standard that building a new stadium would only dent further.

  10. A) inconvinencing local residents

    B) keeping the capacity at at least 15' date='000 at all times

    C) Ensuring that segregation arrangements don't get disrupted

    D) Opening the stadium for community access

    E) Upgrading the capacity of the Main Stand (not for supporters, but for club reasons)

    F) Not taking up more land than is available (ie, next to none)

    G) Replacing the facilities in at least two of the stands

    :[/quote']

So why should Aberdeen supporters have any obligation to 'conveniencing' local residents, who's tower blocks probably came a long time after Pittodrie? Why should care less if Pittodrie isn't the community central of Aberdeen? Similarly I don't give a shit if the toilets reek and the pies have brain in them.

Sounds like a waste of money to me.
