so understated and simple, definite must have in my opinion!
-
Yeh' date=' that confused me for a minute aswell, must have been some vintage Quik footage.
Ha, one of my old school form teachers just made an appearance as a lecturer, can't remember his name for the life of me but he was pretty funny.[/quote']
filming started over a year ago, just before Ben left Quik
the teacher was Mr MacKintosh

in my opinion, the albums you have already are the best dylan you're gonna get!
i cant praise blonde on blonde highly enough!!! it is truuuuuuuuly magnificent!
i can never remember which year each album came out either, but, i quite like "Desire", its by no means outstanding but its quite nice!

maybe we should let this thread die
then emo will die
then we will all die
(i just want the last word )
-
calling all songs about those subjects "Emo" is like calling all things that are green' date=' "grass". what a load of shit.
[/quote']
i cant be arsed with another "emo" debate, but that ^^^ made me laugh!
teehee!
incidentally, i saw some kids, fitting the description you gave, at ToC the other night having an argument which consisted of the guy holding onto the girls arms and just screaming "WHYYYYYYYYY?" repeatedly in her face.
aaaaaaaaaaahahahahaha even thinking about it makes me piss myself
maybe they were "emo"
maybe they were just teenagers
who cares
it was funny

The second of the three albums being released by Ryan Adams and the Cardinals this year.
What's your verdict?
I like it a lot, it's a lot more country-ish than Cold Roses
The End is really lovely
Only criticism is that his vocals on Peaceful Valley are truly the worst I've ever heard them
-

i love the fact that none of these memories include televisions or video games or other horrendous crap that children are subjected to from such an early age these days!!
my earliest memory, i think, was punching holes in the cushions of our three piece leather suite with a pencil!! what a little shit i was. i actually dont know what ever provoked me. dont think the parentals were too chuffed, oops
clearly i needed no video games or tv to induce such riotous behaviour in me.......ah well
-
an album i definitely want to check out!!!
gotta actually get my arse to fopp soon
millions of cds i want to buy!!!
wish i had money
-
that's not how it would have happened. i'd have driven you directly to your door and ensured your safe passage!
and then' date=' in the next scene, you'd have voted me for VP Education on Wednesday as a thank-you and as recognition that i would make excellent use of the position to the benefit of the students of the University of Glasgow.
and the soundtrack would have been provided by HG#1, thus making this post relevant to the thread!
spoons

DEFINITELY try the Basement Bar on Byres Road - total hot spot for students and their walls are plastered with gig posters!!!
and to reinforce what spoonie said, i would also avoid flyering in the QMU, they don't like that too much either
just ask jamesy...
in fact, they don't like it much if you flyer outside either
the QMU are a whole bundle of hostility right there
avoid it like the plague...!
