  1. the gig was amazing, best gig i've seen this week i think!first time i'd seen succioperro and really enjoyed them-hope they go far.aereogramme's set was blinding, indiscretion was ace and so was the 10 minute number they did at the end, loeft a hard act for hell is for heroesto follow-which they did,in fine style as usual.was awesome to hear sick happy and 3 of clubs was my favourite song of the set, played a lot of new stuff as well which sounds really promising and they as well as"FOLDEED PAPUR FIGURRS!!!!" band looked like they gave it 110% all the way through,HIFH remain one of my favourite live bands.ace.

also muchos great big thank you to whoever had the decency to hand in my visa card which went missing from me during the action and for moshulu rob for returning it to me afterwards-thanks very much guys!:)

  2. Hmm.

A rare selection of almost B-side non-hits from George Micheal' date=' Elton John, many many many unknown 80's synth-rock outfits, Petshop Boys, Lighthouse Family, All Saints, Spice Girls (I know... I know) amongst many others I dare not speak.

They DO however play that funky little number with the 'My sherona!' (or whatever) chorus. Fantastic.[/quote']

you have the same retail radio station as my old work.far too much obscure, underground lighthouse family stuff for my liking.

    and toploader:(

  3. I've just been told by my manager that i'm allowed to play Biffy because he likes them but not Million Dead cause he said they are "just a noise" but i'm forced to listen to his Libertines/Babyshambles bollocks on endless repeat for 90% of the fucking day!!!

His excuse being that the people that come in our shop don't listen to that sort of music' date=' although i seriously doubt they listen to Babyshambles either in all honesty?

Or am i just being unreasonable?

    Discuss?

   [/quote']

my work's pretty cool with people putting on their own choice of music as long as it's not far too heavy or has a lot of swearing.

didn't understand why they let me play biffy and my chemical romance but not hell is for heroes though.

  4. awesome gig, enjoyed every song they played, was such a great atmosphere-highlights for me were jaggy snake,a day of and convex/concave.hopefully they'll come back soon(that was my fifth time seeing them-catching up lesley:P) anyway, was so fucking good, enjoyed both support bands too.Reuben were excellent.

  5. fucking hell-it was only an interview-is there really anything wrong about being enthusiastic about yuor band and the music you make?all i saw from it was a band who are clearly really enjoying themselves at the moment.what's the problem?
