  1. My ideal trade would be a 50w valve combo with 2 channels' date=' preferably a clean and a high gain one.[/quote']

Somewhat of a long shot, but I've got a Hughes and Kettner 100w Warp 112 combo that I no longer have any use for, if you're interested in it. It's a solid state amp however and unfortunately, H & K no longer produce these, so can't really offer any form of manual for it, although, it's rather self explanatory. I would point out that this amp was more aimed at "nu metal", so the gain channel gives out fairly good lows, as well as particularly good highs.

Alternatively, I'd be willing to offer you a cash sum for the amp. How much would you roughly be looking for?

  2. Neurosis dont tour anymore' date=' what a ********![/quote']

Oh my. A post of mine responded directly by rune, instating his superiority of knowledge over all, and once again restoring the balance of the universe. What an honour. In all my 18 years of living, I have never dreamed of such a moment, a moment where I would be struck with such a swell of appreciation and gratitude that it would take a life time to only begin to appropriately describe a minute fraction of the feeling of worth bestowed upon me this very evening.

...And how truly greatful I am to be labeled as eight asteriks, by such a truely brilliant internet troll.

Let it be known that I shall no longer be known as human, but as some form of punctuation-human hybrid.

Moving on though, I was somewhat aware of this fact previous to your reply. I felt that many would turn a blind eye to such a plea, seeing as the likelihood of either The Tunnels or Moshulu being able to cater for the turn out for a band like Neurosis would be as likely as an internet troll taking the time to realise that it would be more than reasonable to ignore a plea to bring a band like Neurosis to a city like Aberdeen, simply because of the fact that the likelihood of any of the city's venues being able to cope with the crowd numbers drawn by the aforementioned band would be as likely as an internet troll realising that people are actually mentally capable of making decisions based upon the minute likelihood of an international band with a fairly significant fan base setting off on a local tour around venues which would scarcely be able to find room for the band's full stage set up, let alone the crowd it would draw, would seemingly be similar to the likelihood of an internet troll realising that there are such things as none serious comments.

A man can dream though. A man can dream.

And just to set the topic back rolling, I think that I speak for many here in saying that Slayer should be a likely booking for RFR in the future.

    No hard feelings, chief.

  3. I'd go for Absolutego myself - not as good as Corrupted's best output' date=' but close.....[/quote']

Reply to post: "Yeah, *insert good doom band* are fairly good. If you like that, you should really check them out"

Scorge: "Ah, yes, they are good, but they shall never beat the almighty Corrupted."

Perhaps you should post a thread for your standardised responses to make it much less time consuming for you to give your highly constructive replies. Remeber to make reference to that thread in replies though, because then we wouldn't be able to benefit from your musical insight and general brilliance...

    ...Just a thought mind.

    Stay fast!

  4. we were just walking down the street earlier on in brussels and happened to see that SUNN were playing in the venue next to us' date=' with BORIS supporting.

suffice to say we went in,

fuck me, what an experience. really enjoyed it, but playing for an hour and a half was a bit much for me. got some cracking photos[/quote']

Boris supporting!? You lucky, lucky bastards!

Here's hoping those wee jap nutters head back to the UK soon. Missed them last time. Any good live?

  5. aphex twin - drukqs

Ah whit!? thought Drukqs was a magic album. Fair enough very different from other Aphex stuff, but a great album nonetheless. Each to their own I guess.

Em... I've bought a good few albums I've regretted. I guess the worst was Alien Ant Farm's debut album, I forget the title... what the hell was I thinking!?o_O

  6. Which one goes to mastrick?

    (little belfast)

could either catch the 22 or the 13, both of which take you up to the shops.

Either that, or the 23, which takes you to the Lang Stracht, so a wee walk would be in order.

Or the 16, which takes you to Provest Fraser Drive.

    Aye, that's probably about it.

  7. Red Sparowes - At The Soundless Dawn LOVELY !!!!

Been listening to that solid for the past two days. Brilliant album. Although, it isn't that new, came out around this time last year.

    Anywho...

Old - Neurosis - Through Silver In Blood

New - Yob - Illusion of Motion

(Yeah, this was released in 2004, but it's the newest thing I've been listening to over the past while asides At The Soundless Dawn)

Borrorwed - Haven't really borrowed anything off of anyone over the past while.

Poo - The Dillinger Escape Plan - Miss Machine

(Really don't know what to make of this album at all. Like most of their other stuff, but this album just seemed to be lacking. Not because they toned their playing down a bit, just because it seemed like a rehash of Irony Is A Dead Scene, only bad and without Patton.)

  8. There have been a couple' date=' but a couple out of thousands of potentials isn't really a good result. The answer to this is mostly cos wanky people like N.M drive all the talented people away by trying to be smart arses and failing miserably.[/quote']

I'm presuming you're unfamiliar with the concept of humour then?

  9. "jimi_hendrix707@hotmail.com"

    o_O

Aww, diddums, no one replied to the poor lad's post.

Ain't it sad to see an apparent candidate for university cry like a little soppy bitch with a skint knee, only in text form.

Calm down kiddo. You never know, you might have put off people through your little, angst filled reply there. I know I would be put off by the fact a person can't simply bump a thread after nine days, rather than having a miniture rant at "DEFF METAL" fans.

    ...
