Anyone remember the Diff'rent Strokes theme song at all?
Have a ponder.
-
How's the new London branch of The Moorings going then?
-
Currently tuned to G# (G#C#F#BD#G#) on my 6 string. Holds well, plays magnificently, sounds "da' bomb". Couple with an overdrive pedal, a Big Muff, and three stages of equalizing (line in, pre-amp, and effects loop) and the walls seep gloom juice.
7 strings tuned the same way, only with an additional D# (D#G#C#F#BD#G#). Can't see them being tuned differently for a good while.

In terms of B movie sounds it's not quite Gigantic Brain.

Perhaps I'm going mad, but I'm pretty sure that Ben Elton had nothing to do with the writing of Bottom. It was written by Edmondson and Mayall.
May be wrong on that one though. Feel free to correct.

Ah, image.google.com. Where would we be without you.

Seemingly The Moorings isn't important enough for a wiki page - Gee's a click.

To be honest, if he gains a number one through that single, there's something far wrong with the ears of the nation. It's probably the worst thing he's produced, almost like all his over songs combined into some giant, fire breathing lizard, wailing some form of pop chart mantra while laying waste to downtown Tokyo.
Still, I suppose the Young Ones version of Living Doll was good for a few laughs.

yea someone posted a link to a website cataloguing those accidents earlier. pretty funny stuff. maybe nintendo should release a range of wii gloves for gripping the wiimote in our wii hands.
I'm fairly certain I've seen Wii gloves mentioned somewhere as a future product, whether through Nintendo themselves or a third party, but then I could just be imagining things.
Just out of curiosity, anyone got any insider info as to when stores are likely to be restocked with Wii's? The only place I've found any indication of possible restock dates is the German Amazon page, which is apparently expecting new supplies at the beginning of next week.

Motherfuckers! Co-Exist and Zillah have been added to the bill. Gig seemingly starts at 5 now. Can't wait for this one like.
-
Interestingly enough, if you open multiple ones with a varied delay between them, the whole thing becomes some what hypnotic.
I've only made it to 5 minutes, but I can see me visiting this many times throughout the remainder of the week. If only there was better things to do.

Also I would never sell Bobby a hamster. He's a shady character.
Just what I was thinking. Strange.
But seriously, Bobby, with a hamster... Gah, mental image so bad it...it's... just indescribable.
...PURGE!!!

I thought this gig was yesterday for a second, and then today during the proceeding second. Got all geared up for nothing.
Roll on Saturday!

A little off topic, but would it be correct to say that the little big muff is essentially the same as a big muff, only in a smaller casing? Considering buying a big muff to replace my rat, which I've actually just decided I'm completely fed up with, but was considering the LBF instead if it produces the same sound.
On topic, Maxi... you lucky swine on that bass purchase. Looks to be a sweet rig up too.
-
"Dang?" Do you actually say that in real life?
Is that to imply that posting on an internet forum is not, in anyway, connected to reality?
And no, I don't.
Anyway, let the on-topic posting commence!
Rather tempted by that seven string, Hog. What's it tuned to currently?

I find the C word more offensive than an article of food!
The problem is, such a comment allows for a certain level of interpretation, and while the majority will come to the conclusion that you intend to use "faggot" as an insult, other's may come to the conclusion that Jake and Scorge are actually edible, and to ingest them would not be a form of cannibalism.
I know, I've really got to quit it with the shit jokes.
As for a question for Spike, how do they intend to replace Hog in terms of baldness? Afterall, he's not just a guitarist, but a beacon promoting baldness within the local extreme music community.

Yeah...starting with your god awful guitar sound!
DWEP
Ba-zing!
Evac's been out of commision for almost a year now' date=' so it's been at least that since Aberdeen had the displeasure of hearing my god awful guitar sound.
Keep with the times.
Not funny - DWEP!Dang, I hate it when people delete original replies.

decent quality metal detector- 10.
Corr, that would be handy for saving the ears from a painful experience. Why you selling it, I would have thought it come in handy in Aberdeen. Afterall, there is quite a bit of shite Metal going about.

* searches room for short change to the value of 70 *
Urch, I really need to get a job.

Fuckers, same day as Church Of Misery in Glasgow.
This is gonna be a tough decision.
-
Anyone remember that episode of South Park when they were watching him on TV - 'and now I'm gonna piss this croc right off by sticking my thumb up it's butt'
Shit, beat me to it. Seems it was just one butt too far this time.
Can't really say I was a fan of his, although his enthusiasm did amuse me somewhat.
-
FUCK!
...just... gah.
Still, the combination of Red Star Parade and Eye ought to suffice. Gutting though.
-
Let there be Doom!
Cannae wait for this. It's been a while since the last time I saw a band with excessive lows in their sound.

My point exactly' date=' Stuff like dead skin mask with the inspiration of ed gein is some of there best work.[/quote']
Ah, I must apologise for my previous post after reading this one. Thought your comment wasn't made on the basis of previous lyrics, and was merely an attempt at Slayer bashing. My mistake.
On that note, it's been a good while since I've listened to Cult. Perhaps it's about time I relistened for a better judgement.
Line 6...
in Musicians' Corner
Posted
It had a mention of a drum at least, and the fact the world doesn't turn to the beat of just one.
Auch, never mind. Was meant to be a point behind that one but I forgot that in terms of gear talk making decisions as to what equipment to try and buy is based purely upon other people's thoughts towards it. That said, I've never actually tried any line 6 gear other than some of the tone core pedals, so perhaps they really are as terrible as they are made out to be.
Just out of curiosity, has anyone ever tried out either the Vetta or Vetta II? While the vast majority of Line 6 products have entry(ish) level prices, with the exception of course of the tone core line which seem rather steep, both Vettas are priced at roughly the equivalent of a middle of the range valve amp which seems a little odd if the overall quality of both is similar to one of the lower end products.
Of course, that could be down to the fact Line6 are money hungry bastards, but who knows.
