My wife is organising a Charity Auction at The Belmont Cinema and it would be cool if folk could pop down for a look as it's for a very good cause! More details below:
Christmas Art Auction in aid of ChildLine in Scotland
The Belmont Picturehouse is hosting a Christmas Art Auction in aid of ChildLine in Scotland. A range of artwork has been donated by local artists and photographers including Donna Irvine, Kirsteen Coghill, Jo Stuart, Gareth Taylor and Max Scratchman. All proceeds from the auction will go to ChildLine in Scotland.
The Auction will take place in The Belmont Picturehouse Caf Bar on Wednesday 17th December from 8pm. Entry is free and members of the public are welcome to view the pieces from lunchtime that day.
A member of staff from ChildLine in Scotland will be there on the night to speak about the helpline service for children and young people and answer your questions.
Tis the season of goodwill so come along and support a very worthwhile service and you might even find a Christmas present or two at the same time!

Formed in January 2007 in a rundown industrial estate on the outskirts of Cardiff, Wales, Attack! Attack! UK have already made an big impact on the UK music scene in just a few short months. The band features ex members of Welsh bands Dopamine, Adequate Seven, Midasuno and Petes Sake. These bands have toured countries all around the world and had releases worldwide too.
