  1. vue cinemas are taking bookings for eats for the showing of the live broadcat of the genesis comeback concert, it's quite exciting

phil collins is a bit of a fucktard - see his political statements released around the time of 'another day in paradise' however genesis are quite another matter.

  2. Half the ticket allocation has gone to ticketmaster and it's agents, half to the aberdeen box office.

So, if you are wanting to physically buy then the box office at the music hall is definately selling them, and the tourist information shop will possibly have part of ticketmaster's allocation.

  3. Don't take this to be the gospel truth cause I've not been in today and thus haven't had the final details, but there's a good lot of tickets actually going on sale at the music hall box office for this one, so if you don't manage to get them on the presale fear not.

    I shall check tomorrow.

  4. Yeah, but isn't it something you could possibly do yourself?

I posted an iPod problem once and Sue Denim on here replied saying he'd done some repairs in the past, maybe worth shooting him an email?

I highly doubt me + a soldering iron = safe...

But thank you, I shall endevour to do so.

  5. I'm loathed to send it away cause it's pretty much fine, but my ipod has stopped playing in stereo, obviously I've tried it with numerous headphones etc. The sound is coming through the left ear but not the right.

Does anyone know anywhere locally that would be able to fix it? I don't imagine it can't be that big a problem. I've been on the apple website and basically they'll just give you a discounted new ipod as a replacement but it's still about 200.

    Thoughts?

  6. I've heard a lot of people are selling their tickets as the show is allegedly "too raunchy" for kids. I haven't seen evidence of this but considering how big the band is I can't see them doing anything too bad. It'd be a risk you'd have to be willing to take.

Girls Aloud aren't for kids though really. Surely they are for the gays and those of us that realise that Xenomania have managed to create some of the best pop songs of the last 10 years.

I saw the tour last year, and sure there was a good level of raunch, but there was also a comedy value nutty professor who 'created' girls aloud in a lab who was obviously aimed at the children.

Don't worry about it, Nadine has good Christian values.

  7. The two are nothing alike, the 'not for girls' thing was a humerous and obviously light hearted marketing strategy...not sure about the reasoning behind this though. maybe they make the chocolate tastier

Purchase of yorkie bars greatly increased when it ran that not for girls promotion, it was all the young boys that bought it, but we sold a hell of a lot more than we usually did when it was on.

  8. i still stand by my opinion that had the darkness w/ justin written a eurovision song, they would have won hands down. they are just the kind of ridiculous "cheesy but serious about it" band that would love it.

There was not a hope in hell of it winning. It might've done okay, and got 4's and 6's off some of the scandanavian states, but no, it would not 'have won hands down.'
