yeah for a nicey happy commercial radio friendly piss awful rock band they do seem to have one hell of a temper on them... they were fucking appauling when they supported Korn, strangely enough the crowd who were waiting for Korn didnt like them, so instead of being professional and getting on with it they thought they would just antagonise the crowd and have a go at them, its pretty pathetic, unlike FFAF who knew the maiden fans just wanted them to go away so maiden could come on, who just apologised for having to play so long and keeping us from seeing maiden, picked up and pocketed all the change thrown at them and left very politely....

dare i ask, any idea what the tuning used on the 9 string monster is? just kinda curious,
reminds me of an advert i saw in total guitar many moons ago for this instrument which went from the lowest of bass strings all the way through to a normal guitar at the top on one neck, totally fretless, one fuckin fat neck and hunners of strings!!!

Well im in the process of fixing it i hope, it just might take a wee while, the main problem is i cant even get in to put up a front page saying that the site is off-line so it's not like i can even put something up to redirect browsers to an alternative webspace. Its pretty sucky really, we're just going to have to grin and bear it for the time being, cheers tho man, offer appreciated!

hello everyone
just so you all know, due to a few problems with our hosts, freenetname, the Black Atom webiste will be down for a wee while, not too sure how long at present. I'll need to be in touch with our previous webmaster and do some account changing before we'll be up and running again.
For now tho, keep an eye on this forum for all you need to know about the site and if you want more information, drop me an e-mail and i'll add you to our mailing list which is still fully operational (fingers crossed).

hmmm i think it was probably the webmaster's inability to spell christeen (?!) that meant it ended up like that, although this way did have the added bonus that it made erskine look like he loves man pole... (which he does...)

i just find it funny that for the first time in about 5 years the public perception of the rock/metal genre is FINALLY fucking moving away from the whole sodding Linkin Park/POD/Creed/Nickelback/general nu-metalness rut that its been in and everyone's still moaning! I mean i know its obvious that these bands aren't the be-all and end-all of the genre but i just think its good we actually have some fucking talented spokesmen for the genre for once.
And maybe some of us shouldn't get our panties all up in bunches just because "'they'(being the non hoodie/baggie/red cap wearing music fans) like 'our' music", fuckin hell get a grip of yourself, go get a cd you actually like, listen to it, rock out, be happy and stop bloody whinging....

Lol, reminds me of the midnight opening for Iowa at One-up, it was about 80% mummies and daddies who went to pick it up for the kids coz they had school the next day, they were playing it incredibly loud over the in-store speakers, never have i seen so many shocked and appauled faces, Class.
Have to say Iowa is still my favourite of the two, the psychotic-ness of the the first one is awesome, but it really benefited from the melodies they put in on Iowa, still get tingles when that opening noise blows up ripping into People=Shit like shreading metal sheets, followed by full on hell breaking loose double bass insanity, fuckin awesome.
