Isn't that just people being stupid? It always makes me angry when I see it.
kind of, but I think the royal mail website does the same thing. but check out Lathallan school's website if you really want to get angry, they claim to be the only private school in angus or something. crazy.

although cool thinker is incorrect, postal addresses don't always mean the same as geographic area.
Everything south of Roadside of Catterline has a DD postcode and they often use official addresses stating Angus, despite Angus not starting till over the bridge past St Cyrus. tis dumb.

It's Friday which means this is Tonight! Live beatboxing from the amazing Bigg Taj, a guy with serious skills, and Withered Hand providing his wonderous songsmithery. Not to mention an awesome film directed by Daniel Warren and featuring some of the countries finest musical talent such as Emma Pollock, Rachel Sermanni and Conquering Animal Sound. Wowza!
We're dead easy to get to and this will be a wonderful show.

just giving this a friendly bump

2 weeks ago. We're good mates, and it seemed to be working. Until the last few days. Enough's enough. I need out ASAP. But still have to wait till the end of this month till I have money. And even then I won't have a deposit saved.
did you split up cause you kept spending her money?

this Friday! the film's being getting great reviews after it's screening at Glasgow Film Festival, well worth catching it while it's up here.

Going to Glasgow for a long weekend, so Friday will be the Of Monsters and Men gig, and I'm taking my chum to see Ludovico at Pivo Pivo on the Sunday - any good local bands playing on the Saturday? It's shite that every city doesn't have a website like this...
have you tried the list? http://www.list.co.uk/

i love the food in all their places - 78, stereo and mono. we ate like vegan kings on friday in mono and it was fantastic. i highly recommend the tempura, it was ridiculously tasty.

oh aye, there's some nice places on Byres Road and Ashton Lane. Can't remember any of their names bar the Ubiquitous Chip, which is a damned good restaurant but also has a bar section. There's another great bar round the corner which was playing spiderland in full last I was in.

My tastes in electronic music largely favour the ambient - this is good. Was this achieved using that Novation gizmo?
cheers!
it was created partially with the launchpad but only as a midi controller for some of the beats. so they were just created by tapping them out on the pads. you could acheive the same with any midi controller, even a wee keyboard. the main tool was using ableton to manipulate the other material and for the synth sounds. I would recommend trying the launchpad to see how it benefits first.

Still plenty of tickets for this! Come and check out an amazing film with some awesome live acts in a great venue. buses are pretty frequent, 201, 202 and 203 all stop near Woodend Barn and the last bus back is 10 to midnight ish.

I get the antarctic thing, prefer your noisier work though.
there'll be a couple of noisier tracks on the EP I'm sure. The first track is certainly livlier and the next two should be faster. They probably won't be uploaded until the EP's ready though, just thought it'd be nice to add this one as a variation.
it is definitely good that people get the antarctic thing though, thanks for listening!

anyone had a chance to listen to this? feedback welcome.
The track is called Into a Desert of Ice and is fairly ambient.
-
and a video from Withered Hand featuring loads of ace people like Josie Long, Neil from Meursault and Scott from Frightened Rabbit.

This Friday! Here's a video of Bigg Taj making kerrazy noises with his mouth!

If I ever have children I will be over 30 I am not going to through my life away before I have to.
As for marriage, to quote one of my teachers at school "Why buy one book when you can have a entire library" I guess that means don't get married until over 30.
you should probably spend more time in actual libraries

Nope, maybe it was an Aberdonian 80s thing?
Maybe you weren't as "ace-ic" as you thought
I definitely wasn't as ace-ic as i thought i was at school.
-
Is it? I've never heard it in real life, only ever seen it on here :/
clearly, you weren't ace-ic

Who: Chris and Dave Officer
When: Friday night, half 6ish?
Where: Mono, in Glasgow. Saw them again at half 11ish in the 13th Note but they spotted me, boooo.
ah! we did spy you in mono too but weren't totally convinced. there then followed a chat about whether it was you or not.
you did well to avoid us in the 13th note. we were fucked by that point.

i don't think cool thinker is aware that ace-ic is a term used by people in conversation. e.g that pizza was ace-ic

oh hey, I've put a new track up on soundcloud. It's going to be part of an EP i'm working on just now which I'll hopefully put out in some form later this year. it explores Scott and Amundsen's race to the pole during the heroic age of antarctic exploration.
