Anyone heard who the supports are for Usher Hall?

I was under the impression that it was The Magnificents who were supporting. But this is not the case for The Usher Hall...

All in all I thought the show was fantastic. When whatever it was that was thrown connected with his foreheadI really thought that he was going to storm off in a Brian Clough. But, give the man his due he carried on.

On The Streets I Ran and Far Off Places was the best from the new stuff. Still Ill was sublime

I'm taken aback that Reader Meet Author was performed. Southpaw Grammar is one of my all time favourites.

I used to work as a Payroll Officer at the NHS and what has happened to you is perfectly legal (I'm sorry to say).

All overpayments are reclaimed from the employee's net pay. The employer's and employee's contributions to PAYE and NIC are not taken into consideration in this kind of circumsatnce.

I recommend you speak to your wages department and see if this overpaymnet can be repaid over regular instalments agreeable to you both. The vast majority of employers should be able to do this unless their payroll duties are outsourced to the likes of an accounting firm or payroll service.

Let me know what your tax code is as well. All being well you should be NT but only if you are working during college/university holidays. If you are working during term time and thtroughout the year your tax code will be the generic 489L (the L denoting cumulative). This means that each week for the tax year (52.14 weeks) you will not contribute any tax or National Insurance for the first £94.52 (estimated) you earn on a weekly basis.

I have to agree with you, Del. The Moz Father could quite easily fart in a paper bag and it would be genius. Christ! What's your beef with things that don't adhere to your high-brow intellectualised regard? Read, listen and watch before passing judgement. I've learned to do that.

After reading Cold Granite and giving Rankin's Black and Blue a dusting down and a further read for the umpteenth time, it made me boot up the laptop to retrieve the manuscript I've been working on for quite some time and get back in to the story I one day hope will get finished and (hopefully) published.

For you lovers of crime fiction let me recommend Caleb Carr's The Alienist and the follow up Angel of Darkness. I also recommend A J Holt's Watch me.

I dislike the term unputdownable but these three were the epitome of it.

I haven't seen the since the Lemon Tree gig back in '98 so twice in one year means a helluva lot for me.

I bought it last week but only got round to watching it two nights ago. There is some awesome, nostalgic footage on it and a whole heap of talking heads. The guy who owns New York's CBGBs is also interviewed.

It's a bit pricey at 22.00 but well worth every penny.

To equivocate: In my opinion when the media starts to scaremonger it's to elicit a government response that demands that the populace be evermore vigilant than before, take the necessary precautions but still seek protection that the govt can supply. As a reslut we become molly-coddled and mollified by it.
