  5. There is going to be an awesome gig a kef this Friday(17th September). Broken Sunshine - Think Fenix TX but all girls!! It is there EP release and it will be a lot of fun. Point of Origin - Think Guttermouth meets the beach boys. Bloody filthy pop punk. They never fail to impress. Crashdown - Tech punk from Perth. If you think along the lines of Strung Out, Break The Silence, Rise Against etc... For fans of pop punk, metal etc. Contra - For fans of Rancid, Capdown, Operation Ivy, Bad Brains, Sublime, The Clash etc. Contra play fast paced punk rock that has enough hardcore in it that it will skin your ass! Come down on FRIDAY 17TH SEPTEMBER and be a part of something special! Tickets are only like 4/4.50, so your savings won't be dented. But it wil be great fun and I urge people to come down and enjoy themselves! Thanks for reading! Scott

Since By Man:We Sing The Body Electric Minor Threat:Complete Discography Shai Hulud:A Whole New Level... or That Within... Bleeding Through:Portrait Of The... FATA: Too Bad You're... Unbroken:Life.Love.Regret Thats about it. Long list but hey, what you gonna do? Scott
  7. That is one band i cannot get into. I have Calculating Infinity and Irony is a dead scene. They are way to fucked up for me to like. oh well. Sikth are better, their time changes are so much more subtle methinks. xXscottXx
  8. ...I hope the new 18V will be good. The Best Of is fucking ace. Probably their best, but hmmm. They have gone for a much more radio friendly sound though...ah, im going to weep. I will probably cry for weeks if its shit! Damn you Brendan and your Bleeding Through! Why did he have to leave? Why? Im done, and am now going back to sleep. Thank You! xXscottXx
  9. Isn't one of the guys playing bass for Atreyu now? Have I even got the right band? Scott
  10. Spoony, I wouldn't say that around these parts. The homies will put a cap in yo ass! You over your Motley Crue infatuation yet?
  11. You heard 'Waiting For The Heavens' yet? Its not bad, takes a bit of getting used to th new vocal style, but its got some really catchy moments in it, and, its still quite heavy in places. Which is always nice... Which 18V albums have you got anyways? Scott
  12. Yeah, everyone likes the Bronx! Woo! But Ben is right, all hail Atreyu! Yeah!
  13. Can't be as good as the new eighteen visions song (took a bit of getting used to) because that is awesome! Very melodic! And still quite hardcore! Go buy the new trustkill records sampler and hear it for yourselves! Scott
  14. What does everyone think of them? -Utterly boring with songs which go on too long (Partly my view) -Amazing! I was reading metal hammer the other day, and some kid was going on about them, classing them as the best thing he has ever heard and telling everyone to hail 'Waking The Fallen'. I would rather not, it is one of the most average albums I have heard in awhile... Tell you what, all hail The Bronx! Scott
  15. I wouldn't exactly say Dillinger Escape Plan are metalcore man... Sounds good though. Can't go though because I have my final higher music exam tomorrow! Scott
  16. Who else had heard this fucking song? Deserves a little more recognition than this! "Well i knew it was hard, it was so hard" Sing along, it's great! Scott
  17. They are awesome live. I have them on the 'Hellfest 2002' DVD doing a song from one of their old albums. It is totally ace! Throwdown are also on their playing 'Raise Your Fist' which is also ace, especially when the crowd sing the chorus! 'Raise your fist in the air, DRUG FREE!' It's ace! Scott
  18. It is a B-Side to 'Escape artists...' and it is fucking awesome! Old skool thrash in plaes, scandanavian metal minor harmonies, its got it all! Go make yourself happy and buy it from one up for 2.49 (I think)! Scott
  19. Just when funeral for a friend were becoming generic waterded down emo, they bite us all in the ass with the rather great '10 scene points for the winner' Im a believer! Scott
  20. Sounds good, but let everyone know when everything is up and running. Scott
  21. When do you need a copy of the interview by? Lisa from goldstar wants one to... You will have to pester heather for it though because she is typing the interview up. Thats been over a week now, shit!! Scott x
  22. Awesome! Is this bri? If so, how you doing dude? Anyways, we shall see what happens... Cheers for the opportunity! Scott xxxxx
  23. Who is up for best punk act this year? MERRY XMAS TO YOU ALL! CONTRA LOVE YOU! Scott
  24. Well I can recommend some more. Hahar! Agoraphobic Nosebleed + Converge-The Poacher Diaries(Grind/Metalcore at it's finest - available to order from one-up for 9.99 which is a bargain if you ask me!) Avenged Sevenfold - Waking The Fallen (For fans of AFI, Guns And Roses and Poison The Well according to Guitar World) The 'Hondo Maclean' ep 'Plans For A Better Day' is pretty decent as well, but at times I think they want to be funeral for a friend. Eden Maine's 'The Treachery Pact' is ace as well if you are a converge fan. Kurt Ballou produced it and honestly, it fucking rocks! METAL!!! Scott For some ace bands check out www.deathwish.com or www.trustkill.com and of course www.ferretstyle.com
  25. Hey, I thought you said we were on the bill to!
