    Kinda shocked by the comments about the vocals to be honest... Sure they were low down in the mix but you kinda expect that listening to the records.

    I thought they were pretty good. Not the most mind blowing gig ever but it was pretty much as I expected... Apart from the light show. That was awesome. Wasn't expecting that at all.

    Got bored very quickly during You Made Me Realise though... Went to the bar, not a bad thing.

    The only disappointment was that some guy walked into me and gave me a bleeding nose!

    I got my boiler replaced for a two bedroom flat of decent size and it cost 3200 but that included two new full size radiators, removing the old one from the cupboard, vintilating through the roof and excavating through 2ft of kitchen wall

    due to ever changing regulations, you may find that the goalposts have moved and you need to do some kind of modification work to bring your house into regulation standard

    If you want my advice, make sure you get one of the mid to upper level boilers. Even if you think you are paying too much, it adds a good bit of value on your property (particularly with a long warranty). Also try and get a bit of extra headway in yer boiler. I got a worcester greenstar 28i combi boiler for a two bed flat. I was reccomended for the 24i, but having the 28i means I can install a great power shower at some point. The worcester range have an excellent reputation; they offer good warranty, its green and efficient offering huge savings in utility costs. from the research I did (including speaking to plumbers galore)much of the cheaper boilers on the market use cheap parts and break down a lot

    I really wish that Chemikal would concentrate on finding good new bands instead of just re-releasing some of their former glories (Mogwai Young Team, this means you). The new Aidan Moffat album is the best thing they've released for years but it's not like that was a big find out of nowhere.

    Still, I do love Aereogramme and I do love vinyl... *sigh*

    I now associate 'like herod' with a vision of Joss down the front, pawing at his ears. I have to admit that even from the balcony of Tramway it was pretty brutal - in the best way obviously.
