As fluid as Fifa? Ha! Played the demo for the new one and I've never been so bored during a football game! The only thing I would take from it is the shooting practice from the loading scenes and the licenses.

Makes good sense to me. With a band as heavy and provocative as Desalvo, it's to be expected that there will be certain shenanigans going on down at the front. Just the way it goes...

As far as I could see, there were plenty of areas where people could just stand and enjoy the gig without getting involved (at least until the singer came to hunt you down). I'm sure nobody meant to spill anybodys drinks or anything but people were always going to go a bit mental. Sorry we weren't just nodding our heads and stroking our beards...

They've 'had their day'? Pish min.

I don't think that they're getting worse or anything but I'm not sure that they're as relevant as they once were. There are some really great moments on the album but, largely, it's what was expected. Which is a shame by and large. I just kinda get the feeling that they're never going to release another album that really grabs my attention in the way that others have. They're always going to be a good band but I'm not sure whether they're going to scale the heights that they used to. Having said that, 'I Love You, I'm Going To Blow Up Your School' is great.

Excuses to go to the 'fu are few and far between these days, what with the working and living in the middle of nowhere. Sure I'll be down at some point though... would like to see the new look!

I wouldn't bother... You can get the same thing in Peterhead apparently. Will save you the costs of travelling...
