The album is fantastic. It did admittedly as missdawn says take me a few listens to get into, but once you get passed that it's undeniably ace! I read a good article on them in this weeks Sunday Herald, the band were completely open and frank. It's a good read, you should try and track it down if you like them.

Damien Rice absolutely rocks! Got his album at the weekend and it's amazing, it exceeds all of the recommendations it has recieved - it's terrific. Is there similar artists anyone knows of?

I think they are completely shite, taking the piss out of the strokes is just one of many reasonable reasons not to like them!

Well I'd recommend them. I'd heard about them from this very forum about 6 months ago or something (only remember because I asked if they were named after the famous Arch Duke Franz Ferdinand lol) and had looked out for any albums etc since. They then came to Kef was it? around christmas time and I was meant to be going but couldn't. Then, the album came out and Ive just gambled - getting the girlfriend to buy it for my Valentines day thing and it's ace. You should gamble too mate - it will pay off for sure if your anything like me lol Not sure about them being called the "British Strokes" though!

What you all think of them? I just got the album for Valentines Day, and absolutely love it. What's everyone else think, out of interest?
