    The Long Blondes - Whatever their debut is called

    Mclusky - Mclusky do Dallas

    I remember shifting 5 copies of their first full release single in about 20 minutes when i worked in One Up.

    Did the same with FFAF two days before tey played Kef/Lava etc

    thems the days..

    I have everything by McLusky on all formats aside from the Best of which i still need to buy as i`m a completist..... i.e a complete piss artist

    The ticket price is dictated to the promoter by the bands agent, and the promoter makes an offer to the agent based on that price.

    Then the agent screws every penny out of you and confirms the show.

    Then the band take futrther trucking and production with them that requires extra costs

    Promoters now only get into profit on the last 100 / 150 tickets and yet risk thousands.

    To answer:

    The Killers could easily sell 50,000 tickets in Scotland

    Their buggest "Headline" show to date (when they were BILLED as headliner) was at King Tuts.

    The new album will go platinum in day.

    The last album sold 7 million+

    This will be sold out by 9.08am i reckon

    Good luck.

    www.gigsinscotand.com sign up and find out when any pproduction holds are released as this is usually the best way to get tickets for this type of show if you miss out at the start.
