YAS MINs of the year That Windass goal that sent Hull to the premiership for the first time, Going on tour, Passing 3rd year uni, Trips out of Aberdeen, the US election

Biggest Dissapointment Not playing enough gigs/writing enough. Having no money. The fact I am still a student. I see a connection between the above. Man City 5- 1 Hull City

Looking forward to 2009 Finishing university for good, playing and promoting and releasing more, buying more records, visiting more places, going to see TNA, the FA Cup, the rumour of Bruce Springsteen and Neil Young at Glasto coming true

I was at that Hull game vs Arsenal... was a great game.

Missing out on the Lemonheads. Not keeping in touch with more people.

Getting married, hopefully a successful year. Catching up with people i've not seen in YEARS.

  4. Seriously thinking of going to this next year. The Interactive workshops and panels are worth the ticket price alone.

    book your hotel... NOW

Hilton on 6th st is the best as you can walk to all the venues REALLY easily.

it's MENTAL....HOT... and YOU WALK LIKE A BASTARD

  5. Not all bands are charging a fortune,.

Metallica at the O2 Arena.. 15th Sept are charging fans ONLY 5 !!!

Book now. All proceeds go to charity.

    Metallica announce super-cheap London O2 Arena show | News | NME.COM

Metallica + the most business minded band in history...

band are soon out of their record deal. by collecting registrered user details then they can sell the new album direct to them and pocket the extra $$$.

the promoter for Led Zep got 20 million names and addresses of fans just from that gig. a database that size is worth a LOT of $$$s

it all comes down to information which at the end of the day is the most valuable comodity.

  6. It's a hard life min.

    You should move.

Thankfully i'm too old to worry about going out now a days.

The pub does me fine for a few sherries.

However, I then normally end up in Exodus, and am sober within minutes (damn bar).

    old man!!!

  7. which i will almost certainly go to, being that i've seen animal collective already, and apart from de la soul and okkervil river, the other ones that appealed to me were more 'ah, wouldn't mind checking them out' style acts. plus it's like a tenth of the price of the already-reasonably-priced ATP

finally someone talking about Okkervil River.

    i "may" be biased though.

atp should be great this year. certainly the great escape has benefitted from atps being on at the same time. lineup is great.

  8. i feel ancient reading this. i gave about 10 years of my life to djing and the likes. missed almost everybody's birthday / christmas / new year but damn it was fun always in parts but sometimes it was insane. think i still have injuries to this day... namely my nose, left hand and right foot.

would love some of the photos.

anyone got any of halloween's ymca debacle as i've never seen any. also any of Rae for obvious reasons.

for those that i've totally lost touch with: rossmorrison *at* mac *dot* com is email and iChat/ AIM etc.

think i'm missing a case of cds somewhere although not sure. still have the minidisc player and cd decks which allowed me to bend pitches and loop various samples etc that were used.

anyone remember Neil Pert (old LJ) diving off the dj booth in the palace and crowd surfing.....?

    soo many funny things!!!

4 people will find this funny: "WORK you bastarding piece of shite!"

Marsh - i have a cover shot for you. i'll put it up later
