  1. I'm selling a large pedalboard which comes with its own heavy duty flightcase.

The case is a serious piece of kit and is completely indestructible. Its in pretty good nick, a bit scratched and what not (it's a case), but apart from that it's perfect. Hinges, handle and fasteners (!?! can't think of the real word) are all immaculate. See the pictures. The top has some elephant tape on it which I just had the band name and stuff written on but that should come off with little effort. It's completely foam lined (quality stuff), box and lid. The padding is brilliant and it keeps everything locked in tight as you'd expect.

The pedalboard itself is great, a really solid piece of board (don't know what its made of but its awesome). It's slightly angled towards you so your pedals look up at you a little, great for lots of pedal changes. It lifts out of the case, which is a really nice tight fit, there's absolutely no movement when its inside. I've simply attached my own velcro on to it for my pedals but I can easily take that off so you can have your own arrangement. It will easily fit 10 boss sized pedals and a power supply, see pictures!! (Yes I know there's hardly anything on it in the pictures but its just for an idea ;) )

I'm selling this due to me downsizing a little bit (might be selling some pedals soon too), and so this beast is a little bit big for my needs now. I'm going to buy a much smaller case.

I'm only asking 60 for it. This is simply because I'd much rather see someone local get the use of it and it would save the hassle of posting it if I have to sell it on Ebay. I can deliver (within reason) and it can also be viewed (probably at Tom's or something). 60 is a bargain for a case of this size, just check ebay.

Sorry about the lack of specific measurements etc, hope photos will suffice.

None of the pedals are for sale, they're only there to show how big it is etc

  2. Constant Motion

Hmmmm, not bad. A bit more-of-the-same (in a six degrees stylee). Got its moments though, the solo is total Alex Lifeson and there's some not bad riffs but its got some dreadful Portnoy vocals in the chorus. Back to standard tuning too, actually a bit of a 'tallica vibe to some of the verse melody.

Production wise, it's as you'd expect... meaty!

It's pretty nice of them to chuck up a cd quality mp3 for free with still over a month till the album comes out, weird too because I think its due to be the 1st single.

  3. Yeah, to a point. There is a 20GB per month limit on "peak time" downloads. Peak time is 6pm to 12 midnight every day. If, like me, you do most of your downloading at night or during the day then this is ace as there are absolutely no limits for the other 18 hours in the day. :)

  4. The nearest offers I can find (there's bound to be others, but for a quick comparison) is Eclipse Broadband Option 3 which is 29.99 per month with a 40GB cap ...

Not true, I'm with Eclipse. I get 8meg with no cap and it costs me 15 per month + VAT.

It's absolutely great, the customer service is awesome too.

  5. yeah, that is absolutely baws. Nobody has been in contact with us about anything directy but I guess this is how most of the bands probably found out. The pre-show gig that we were supposed to be doing will definitely be off too, it was bundled in with the tickets for Ragnarok so you couldn't just go to our gig on its own.

Ach well, hopefully if anything else gets sorted out in future then we might get the shout, just means we can concentrate fully on Halloween now.

  6. The new Ragnarok site is online now, featuring up-to-date information on the Ragnarok festival this November.

I'm the link to the new Ragnarok Festival Website!!!

We're playing the "Official Preshow" gig at the Doghouse in Dundee on November 3rd and it would be awesome to be able to repay this opportunity that we've been given by drumming up some real interest in what will be an awesome festival of pure metal!!!

Drop by the forums and say hi or just check out our shiny page in the bands section ;)

    Cheers

  7. Best sketch - Bomb dogs:up:

You think?? Great sketch... BUT.... the Sheepdog guiding in the helicopter is still the best for me.

"careering towards the children's soft heads...."

"You need one of these... it's a Pocket Shepard"

  8. Kudos to Brian O'Hanrahanrahan as well.

    Surely you mean Peter... ;)

    "Peter you've lost the NEWS!!!"

"Peter, next time you cross the road... DON'T BOTHER LOOKING!!!"

Anyone else found the whole 9/11 "sketch" on the menu of the DVD? Just left it running once when I was busy with something else and I heard this "report" from O'Hanrahhanrahan describing his visit to the twin towers for some conference or other. He's slept in and is still sitting in his hotel room and has no idea that the "conference" he is giving quotes from never actually took place as the whole building has been razed. It's close to the bone but hilarious none the less.

    Classic O'Hanrahhanrahan!!!! :)

Edit: Almost forgot the best line ever "luckily the helicopter also managed to avoid an old woman up a stick in a nearby field"

  9. Just stick to the original plan' date=' going on at 7 is too early. Never mind all this poxing/pissing/arseholing about, keep it as was.

Just had a thought: there's a fair few folk in sticksville who are Atom fans, aren't there? Maybe last buses were a factor in Wilkie's thinking.[/quote']

Agreed, the bus thing comes into it but we really don't mind where we play, its not going to be too late by the time the last band goes on anyway. If we aim for a finish sometime between 11-12 then everybody still has time to make there buses etc.

  10. Maybe he simply isn't a fan of Atom.

yeah, thats cool, just not the most mellow thing in the world to get arsey over the lineup for a charity gig. What does it matter who plays where? If you guys want to go on last then be our guests.
